Per the official City of Charleston Short Term Rental ordinance, the property must NOT be occupied by "more than four (4) unrelated people". This does NOT apply to families.

Guest Access:
Each of our vacation rentals is accessed by a keyless door code for ease of entry, and allows for a zero-interaction check-in/check-out process. A door code specific to each guests’ stay will be provided the day prior to your check-in. If you have any questions about directions or access to the property, our team would be happy to assist.

The fantastic restaurants, shopping, and nightlife of Upper King Street are close enough to walk, but far enough to not keep you up all night. We happily allow pets at the property for an additional fee. All pets must be disclosed prior to arrival, and applicable pet fees will be added to your reservation total. Guests are responsible for any damages or extra cleaning required as a result of bringing a pet.

Smoking is strictly prohibited indoors. A fine will be charged ($300) for any in-room smoke evidence. If you wish to smoke, please do so at least 10 feet away from the building outdoors.

This service allows you to securely drop off your luggage before check-in or after check-out, so you can explore and enjoy your time in Charleston without the inconvenience of carrying your bags. Our home is in a vibrant neighborhood just steps from King Street’s dining and nightlife. While that energy is part of the experience, city noise may be heard. Please be advised that:
⭐️ A local noise ordinance is in effect from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
⭐️ Guests must be respectful of neighbors during these hours.
⭐️ We do not offer refunds for noise-related issues that are to be expected of the location.
⭐️ By booking, you acknowledge and accept this city setting and the potential for ambient noise.

Refunds will not be issued for concerns reported after checkout or when resolution efforts are declined.

❄️ Charleston homes are built for a subtropical climate, and since many are older, severe cold snaps may affect both water temperature and indoor heating.

🚗 Please note that we cannot assume responsibility for vehicles parked outside the designated parking areas.

🌀 Hurricane Policy / Extenuating Circumstances:
⭐️ In the event that a Mandatory Evacuation Order is issued for our county by the Governor of South Carolina during your stay, we will provide a full refund of all payments made.
⭐️ If no such order is issued, our standard cancellation policy remains in effect, even if weather elsewhere impacts your travel plans.
⭐️ We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance, especially during hurricane season, for added peace of mind.

We enjoyed the place and the location was great. The kitchen sink only sprayed so made a mess every time we turned it on. Don’t like the metal coffee mugs… can’t reheat cold coffee in them. The room with bunkbeds was very warm… no ceiling fan and even though there was a vent in ceiling, couldn’t feel much air coming out. The portable fan in the closet is old and very noisy and we noticed it felt warm to touch after a while…: just a small more modern fan would be a great improvement. Some chairs on the upper deck would be nice.It was very charming and a great location!

Great location, amazing property, and very responsive host. I loved the fact that the kitchen included two coffee makers, and one of them was a Mochamaster which is awesome machine.
