The Space: Welcome to The Blue Cottage, a warm and cozy retreat perfect for 1–3 guests. This charming studio with one full bath is located on Charleston’s Eastside, one of the most convenient areas downtown, just minutes from historic sights, dining, shopping, and waterfront attractions, making it easy to get anywhere in the city!

Situated across the street from the iconic Cigar Factory on East Bay Street, the cottage offers both an unbeatable location and easy parking. With its own private entrance, the open studio layout is thoughtfully designed for comfort and efficiency, ideal for business travelers or guests looking to relax and enjoy Charleston together.

Recent upgrades include a new 40-inch TV in the main living space and an additional TV in the lofted sleeping area. The loft features a queen-sized bed accessed by a built-in ladder, along with a twin pull-out sofa for an extra guest. A fully equipped kitchen with basic cookware is included, and guests enjoy exclusive access to the cottage.

On-site driveway parking for one vehicle makes arrivals and departures effortless, with a well-lit porch to welcome you home after a day of exploring!

The house is located in the quiet neighborhood of Eastside, away from the hustle and bustle of the main tourist areas. You’re still within walking distance of Charleston’s main attractions but you’ll be able to return to a peaceful neighborhood at the end of the day. It’s an up-and-coming part of town that has new restaurants and bars popping up on every corner! Some of the local eateries will be Mercantile & Mash, Rappahannock Oyster Bar and Taco Boy! Just a 15-minute walk from the house is upper King Street where you’ll find plenty of exciting bars, gourmet restaurants, and unique shops to visit. This popular area is a great place to start your adventure.

Other Notes: *Pet policy: Our home is not pet friendly but ADA service animals are always welcome. Please let us know before booking.

*We provide starting supply for coffee, toiletries, trash bags, tide pods, and dishwasher pods. There is a nearby convenience store if you need to pick up more during your stay.

*If the property includes a washer and dryer, we kindly ask that you use them to refresh your towels during your stay. While you don’t need to wash towels or linens at checkout, please note that we have a limited supply and may not be able to provide extras unless the home lacks a laundry room.

*Crib and high chair available through a third party as an optional add-on and must be ordered 48 hours in advance in order to guarantee it is in the home prior to guest arrival. Inquire for information to book with the third party*

*Evacuation Policy: Get a full refund within 72 hours in case of a MANDATORY evacuation in Charleston County
