"We loved this stay, very accurate as depicted. We walked over to Caseys every morning for coffee and to get in a few steps. The apt had everything we needed from night lights to coffee and filters, to shampoo and body wash. Bed was very comfortable and the dark bedroom curtains allowed us to sleep in. Quiet apartment, even with residents on the 2nd floor."

"My family and I had a wonderful time at this adorable little home! The pictures are accurate, and Amelia is very responsive and accommodating! We enjoyed the outside area, and with permission we had a few of my Dad's friends come over for dinner, and everyone had a great time! (Please note that it is located on one of the main streets, so there is a lot of traffic to be cautious of if you have small kids/pets. It was pretty quiet during the night, however. If you are a light sleeper I would...

"So peaceful!We named the goat Chocolate and the dog Puppy"

"We had a fabulous time at the hen house!!! There are not sufficient words to describe our experience. Cinnamon rolls, fresh eggs and meeting all of the animals on the farm entertained all of us. If we are ever in the area again, we will definitely stay at the Hen House!"

"We had a great time here! The walking path to the beach was nice, but it was getting a little over grown the farther we went in, but easy to find and follow. The beach had some weeds as well, but the dogs enjoyed cooling off in the water. The ticks were bad, but thats expected. The dogs are treated, but we forgot our bug spray. Fortunately we were able to drive about 10min into tien to the bp gas station and purchase some. Overall, it was nice, quiet area for a weekend away."

"Cute cabin. As expected/ listed. We did arrive very late as we were boating all day so we had to get out and walk up to the door to see what number the cabin was as there wasn’t any lighting. "

"The house was so comfortable, clean, and inviting! The kids had a great time in the game room and we had a great time relaxing upstairs. It was also the perfect distance between Pella and Knoxville. The home made for a wonderful weekend familu getaway trip!"

"Would highly recommend for any group looking to stay near Lake Rathbun. This property was the perfect spot for our 8 couples to stay comfortably with some privacy. The property manager was incredibly helpful and accommodating to ensure we had a positive experience. Incredible experience all around!"

"Came here for a fishing get away with the boys and this place was awesome, close to the lake and clean more than enough room. Enjoyed our stay"

"The house has a very large open living room upstairs, plenty of bedrooms for us. The backyard is large, although most of it fairly steep slope towards the lake. The lake was up several feet when we stayed, so the beach in the photos was under water. Pella is a 7-8 minute drive away. Overall we liked the property."

"We had a great weekend relaxing and playing in the water. The cabins were so clean. There was a great variety of water toys for the whole family to enjoy. The kids loved the paddle boat, kayaks and the pool noodles. We spent a lot of time together jumping off the docks and floating around. The fire pit area was wonderful."
