"We loved having the best of both worlds... beach all day and pool all night!! It was a quick, easy walk to the beach. The pool was outstanding, tho could use some shade. The house was comfortable, with plenty of room for us to sit. The kitchen had everything we needed! We had a few visitors (deer). We loved all the trees, that created privacy around the house. Sitting on the balcony you are not looking right down into the neighbors pool... 10/10 a great place to stay for a family beach...

"We loved our stay at The Escape OBX! Karol is an excellent host. She was very responsive to questions and really thought of all the “extras” to make our stay easy and comfortable. The kitchen was well-equipped with cooking tools/appliances and spices, etc. And we loved not needing to pack all our beach things. Beach chairs, cart, boards and towels were all available for use during our stay. We would definitely stay again — very clean and comfortable!"

"We (two families of 5 with the youngest being 14 years old) had an amazing week and we were VERY sad for the week to end. The location was great - only steps from the beach. The house was beautiful. "I stayed here for the weekend with my mom and older sister for a family reunion. The place was better than what we expected. Nice secluded area. The hosts were very responsive and helpful. "What a great place for our maiden voyage to the Outer Banks! The house was so spacious, bedrooms, and bathrooms for everyone and then some. We did a lot of cooking because my daughter has a food allergy, kitchen was easy to work in and well appointed. The house is just a two minute walk to a great beach, but the pool was the big hit for the kids. We don’t have a pool when my kids are water babies, so that was pretty incredible.
