Villa Koukounari enjoys a private hilltop position in Agios Matthaios, a beautiful and peaceful resort, full of pine trees with breathtaking view overlooking the entire town of Chania, in Akrotiri area, just 3,3 kms away from the center of the town and the old Venetian harbour and 10 kms from the international airport. The villa (suitable for family vacation) is built in two levels and consists of five bedrooms - which can accommodate up to 10 persons – and three bathrooms. Each level has its own kitchen, living and dining room. Furthermore the main living room has an atmospheric wooden roof and a fire place. Each level has its own different entrance for more privacy. In the ground level there is also a fitness center and a home cinema. In our atmospheric terrace with view of the city and the white mountains you can enjoy the sun in our lounge chairs during the day or relax in our comfortable sofas luxuriating the scenery and peaceful nature surrounding the villa, day or night. A big yard bordered by grass – an ideal space for games and sports like table tennis – welcomes you on arrival. In the northern side of villa you are able to relax and refresh in our brand new salt water pool, in a beautiful space full of olive and other trees. An outdoor barbeque and a wood-oven, in which you can prepare delicious dishes, is located in the backyard. You can also enjoy your breakfast and meals on our stone table under the wooden pergola. In the pool, surrounded by beautiful olive trees, you are able to relax and cool off even on the hottest days of summer. Table tennis, playstation with vr and homecinema are among the most popular amenities. The villa has a private parking, suitable for two cars. The east side is surrounded by tall and beautiful pine trees. The pine tree forest of Ag. Matthaios is the biggest oxygen lung of Chania. It is the ideal place for jogging or cycling (with the bikes that we provide) away the town΄s noise. 5 to 6 kms away from the villa you can enjoy the sun and crystal water in one of the nearest sandy beaches surrounding Akrotiri wider area.
