AZ beachfront villa in Kalamaki Chania

AZ is a semi-detached house of three-storey new building of 200 m2 in a large plot fenced with wall. Attached is another rental. The AZ three levels are furnished with elegant style and can accommodate 6+ guests. There are 3 spacey bedrooms each with a full en-suite bath, wardrobes, a sitting area and exit to balcony/terrace. The ground floor is an open plan living-kitchen-dining-bathroom and exits to a tree/flower garden. Τhe floors are wooden parquet.
Located on the beach front of Kalamaki and Glaros gulf 4km west of Chania.

The basement used as a storage area, and owners use it on vacation.
Level 1: A little above the ground level with large living – dining – kitchen-bathroom.
Level 2: two bedrooms (north side and south side) with en-suite bath, and balcony.
Level 3: spacey bedroom with two single beds, and a double sofa-bed, seating area, en-suite bath, wardrobes, and balcony.
Access between floors is by stairs inside.

Central air conditioning/heating system. Fully furnished kitchen, dining table and chairs, lounge and Satellite TV, WiFi. There is free parking for one car on site.
The second and third level's bedrooms and large balconies offer views to the sea, Kalamaki beach and area of Agii Apostoli. In front of the house there is a garden with flowers and trees.
The kitchen has: microwave, oven, refrigerator-freezer, dishwasher, laundry, kettle, coffeemaker, toaster, dishes, glasses, cutlery and all utensils for family cooking.
Towels, linen, sheets, blankets, beach towels and beach umbrellas are also provided and if necessary additional beds and cot. Cleaning services once in a week stay or every 3-4 days. There is extra shower in the garden, advised to be used after the beach before getting into the house.

Upon arrival the owners will welcome you with milk, coffee, tea, malotira, orange juice, biscuits and local wine and Raki with local delicacies.
The host will provide information on routes and visits by bicycle, motorcycle, car and hiking in the mountains or canyons, while explaining what you need to know to better enjoy your holidays. They will inform you about all events in Chania concerts, traditional festivals, music, and shops. On the west Crete you will find some of the most amazing and famous beaches of Crete and Greece like Falasarna, Balos, and Elafonissi. We strongly recommend these destinations.

Very near to the house there are mini-markets and in one km there are big super markets Synka and Lidl. Close there are banks, pharmacies, restaurants, bars and other shops. Close 3-4 km, is Agia Marina and Platanias for beach parties, music, sports and night life.

In front of the house is the bus stop to go downtown Chania, to the beaches, to the airport and any village or destination. The car is recommended if you plan to explore Crete. Buses go to every destination.

Beaches to walk…..
The closest beach to the villa is Kalamaki sandy beach, one 100 m away west. It is organized and offers all you can wish at the beach to stay the whole day.
East, is Glaros sandy beach. It is not that crowded and rarely affected by the winds!
Then come the area of Saint Apostles-Agii Apostoli with its four famous coves and beaches and the Park. There are coffee and beer kiosks, public showers and other facilities. Lots of outdoor activities take place, beach volley, beach rackets-paddles, bicycling, jogging, wind surfs, and other water sports, music festivals, beach parties etc… At the Park music festivals and other culture happenings get organized.

In walking distance is GALATAS village where the composer Mikis Theodorakis was raised. There is a Museum about him. Close to visit is Agia Lake, with children playground and cafés, for romantic getaways. Limnoupolis Water Park is in 4 km for a day visit.
Car is recommended if you plan to expore Crete, buses go to every destination.
