"As I entered the room, there was an unpleasant ordor that probably came from the carpet. The room was kinda run down..I really didn't feel comfortable sleeping there..What tipped the scale was the next morning there were roaches crawling all over the bathroom door and walls. I will never come here again"

Why exactly am I being disturbed a full hour before check-out? Am I supposed to spend an entire hour packing my luggage? As a paying guest, I already know the check-out time. Receiving a wake-up-style call just to remind me to leave felt rude, intrusive, and unnecessary. Instead of making guests feel welcome, it creates the impression that the hotel is...
