A wonderful place to stay

It looks like a classic farmhouse but itā€™s a perfect place for a small group who need a place to stay. Current conveniences, very clean and well stocked amenities. We only used the kitchen for breakfast but you could easily use it for lunch and dinner and the property is nice that you could enjoy outdoor dining. Would readily return in the future

This is a great location to be close to 7 Springs, Hidden Valley, the State parks, and more. The house is furnished nicely and should have everything you need. We enjoyed our stay, and the host is great and very attentive. It's a neat, well-cared-for and decorated old farmhouse in a great location. We were here in July and enjoyed the deer, turkeys, and fireflies that call the area home. We'll stay again when we're back in the country.

Historic farnhouse

This was easy to find and checking/checkout was seamless. We visited the flight 93 memorial for the first time. That was our highlight. Only stayed 2nigjts but it was nice and comfortable. We got to meet our host, she was a pleasure and very responsive to an air conditioner issue.

Comfortable stay

Just as stated, cute farmhouse, clean and well maintained. New grill outside, ready to use. Although we didnā€™t use the grill, it was nice to have available. Very hot weather for Pennsylvania, and bedroom air conditioner, kept up. Would stay again, and recommend.

Great farmhouse stay with awesome hosts!

Loved the authenticity and warmth of this farmhouse. Saw deer in the field, hiked to the barn. Lots of wildlife and nature. Clean and welcoming. Excellent communication with hosts! Highly recommend. Will stay here again.

Great spot for a 7springs visit

Just 3 minutes from 7springs mountain resort. Many trails - I recommend Laurel Hill Lake trail. Very responsive host (thanks Sam for your support during our stay!)

Listing is wrong, things are broken, owner won't return calls

Upon arriving, we found that there was only one driveway, not the two listed and only enough parking for 3 cars. There were no apple trees, let alone an orchard which disappointed my kids a lot because they were looking forward to that. Two of the dinning room chairs were broken and one end of the couch was also broken. This was a recliner portion of the couch and it wouldn't stay upright without being pushed up against the wall. The dvd player that was in the listing was not connected to the tv. There was no air conditioner in the master bedroom. Halfway through our stay, the washer quit working. I did call the owner and he never called back. To top it off, the grill is rusty, the house was dusty, and it smelled musty. Not at all satisfied and I'm wondering how this owner is a premier owner. Honestly, if I could request part of my money back I would.

Charming Farm House

Great location and very close to Seven Springs Resort. Charming old farm house. House was clean, well stocked kitchen, beds were comfortable and the outside fire pit was very relaxing. Met the owner, she was extremely nice and very accommodating.

Perfect Ski Weekend

We stayed with 4 adults, 3 little boys (4,10,12) and 2 little dogs. The house had everything we needed for a weekend ski trip. The location was just perfect. Right up the road from Seven Springs. We only booked the house a couple weeks out and it was the only affordable option left. We took a chance on it we were pleasantly surprised! This is not a Pinterest perfect, Instagram worthy house. Itā€™s an old house, yet cozy and clean with everything you need! Itā€™s like staying at grandmaā€™s house. We thought it was a great deal and would definitely stay there again. Perfect for 2 small families! Check in was beyond easy. Just a simple email with instructions and we never needed anything else from the owner all weekend. Check out was easy too! No need to strip the beds or do anything really before we left. Great time saver when you are trying to pack up and get out! We hope to make this an annual trip!

Ski Vacation

Property was super close and convenient to Seven Springs. The kitchen was well fitted out to make great family meals after a long day on the slopes. Checkin and checkout was simple, and plenty of outdoor space to exercise the dog.

Beautiful farmhouse

We were in the area for an archery competition at Seven Springs. The farmhouse was very close to the Seven Springs entrance. The owner provided all of the amenities that we could possibly want and more. If we are back in the area, we will definitely book the farmhouse again.

Firstly, the Host Sam was amazing. Very sweet and made sure to let us know if there was anything needed to contact him. The home was beautiful, relaxing, and so conveniently located. We had an amazing time and look forward to renting with Sam again soon!

Lovely Farmhouse

Great stay for our family! Tons of appliances, crockpot, toaster, blender, keurig, coffee maker, microwave and toaster oven. Everyone sleeps different, kids were fine in their bunk bed, mattress felt a little old and too soft. Less than a mile from the main entrance at 7Springs. Overall I highly recommend and would stay at again.

Cozy farmhouse with great manager

Clean, comfy, and in a great location, this old farmhouse had everything my friends and I needed for a long ski weekend. The check in and check out process couldnā€™t have been easier, and the property manager truly cared about us having best and most comfortable time possible.

House was full of bugs and the door to the outside did not lock. We left a night early because it was so bad and the property manager was condescending and did not do anything to rectify the situation.

Interesting farmhouse.

Nicely decorated farmhouse. The kitchen is well stocked with all cooking necessities. But, the bedding is well used. The Pillows need to be replaced & some Glade plug ins would help with the damp musty smell. Basic morning caffeine needs are not stocked. (Coffee (pods) or tea bags, cream, sugar, etc.)

Great location for hiking the Laurel Highlands

The Farmhouse was perfect for our group of 3 people plus 1 dog who was hiking various trails in the Laurel Highlands. Great location, lots of room and fully equipped kitchen.

A very pleasant stay in the farmhouse. 1 mile from 7 springs resort so it was perfect for my group who was attending an event there. Big back yard to sit around in the evening . Hope to stay there again next year .

Convenient Location

I liked the house. The kitchen was very well equipped with equipment and the location was convenient. The bedrooms should be clarified in the description. The bunk beds are a captive room and it is necessary to go through that room to get to one bedroom. There would have been no privacy for anyone in the bunk room. It might not be an issue for some but should be mentioned.

A great place for a getaway

A well-kept farmhouse with plenty of amenities. The dog loved roaming the freshly-cut yard on a long leash. We enjoyed a day visiting multiple nearby farmers markets and wineries, then came back and cooked on the huge grill. In the evening, we pulled up lawn chairs to the fire pit and watched the night sky. On a day it threatened to rain, we moved inside and we had plenty of air conditioning (even when using the oven) plus a table plenty large enough for board games. The owner was extremely responsive. When we found the grill was out of propane, I messaged them about it and started preparing to cook inside for the evening. But before we could finish prep, he had pulled up with a fresh tank! We would definitely consider coming back here or to one of their other properties in the area!

Great little spot with good location for skiing

Was a very nice house located very close to seven springs. The owner was very responsive with all my questions and information. He was flexible and accomidating with check in and check out which made our short stay much more enjoyable with having two littles (2.5 and 5 months) with me and my two older parents! The house was very well equipt with anything you would need to make your stay feel like home. Would definitely recommend.

1 Mile from 7 Springs Skiing! Fantastic Farmhouse!

Wonderful stay for our family of 6 and our small dog. Well equipped kitchen, plenty of room for all of us. Warm inside despite cold snowy weather outside, shower was great. Mud room was very helpful for all of our ski gear. Lots of radiators for drying wet ski gloves and boots! Only one full bathroom upstairs, but fine with us. Sam was great with communication, and even let us check out late, by 1 pm, so we could ski some more this morning and not worry about our dog, who we kept in our crate. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Rustic Mountain Getaway

We were looking for a getaway for Labor Day weekend that was both close to the (outdoor) action and socially distanced from other travelers. We found it in this rustic mountain farmhouse about a mile away from Seven Springs Resort and a 25-minute drive to Ohiopyle (rafting) and Fallingwater (Frank Lloyd Wright). The property is greatā€”the house sits on the main road, but thereā€™s plenty of space in the backyard to roam (we had our lab with us). There were also plenty of fruiting Apple treesā€”so many that we felt almost obligated to make an Apple crisp one night. Thereā€™s just one bathroom, which can be a little challenging with two teenagers. It doesnā€™t mean that you canā€™t make it work. Travelers should also know that you need to walk through the bunk room to get to the queen bedroom. Thereā€™s a portable dishwasher in the kitchen which is really easy to use. Thereā€™s also a grill and fire pit in the backyard. The property owner/manager was extremely responsive and easy to work with. Overall, it was a great getaway.

Great time in the mountains

The property was as advertised. Well kept and comfy with lots of family history which we appreciated. The road out front is close with cars going fast making us nervous nervous with the kids but with pleeeeenty of back yard it was fine. Sam reached out before we arrived to give a heads up about some minor problem created by the previous week's guests. While minor we appreciated the heads up and were able to look past some slight issues caused by these rowdy renters. Bring your groceries... the Highland Harvest nearby has the basics but is over priced and the staff is not as cordial as you would think.

Great location and set-up for family ski weekend

This is ~1 mile from the entrance to Seven Springs which was super convenient for our family ski weekend. The downstairs was spacious enough for 6 adults to spread out and everyone had a seat for meals and on the couch. Kitchen is well equipped. One bedroom is accessible only through the bunk bed room as a heads up when planning who sleeps where. 1 bathroom (upstairs) which was very clean and hot water pressure was excellent.

Great house, comfortable and clean!

This was a great place to stay and I would definitely go back! The house was really well stocked even better than what the description showed. It was also really clean, reasonably priced, and neatly organized. I highly recommend it, we had a wonderful time.
