"The location of this property on Silly Creek provided absolutely beautiful views. We used the kayaks multiple times and it was one of the highlights of our trip. Taylor Bay is very close and the shallow and clear waters were perfect. The property manager and owners were extremely easy to communicate with and provided helpful tips in advance. We’re very happy we decided to stay on this side of the island."

"We had a great stay! The house was great! It was our first trip to the island. The location of the house requires a 20-30 minute drive for most restaurants and Grace Bay. The Host was very helpful and made check in easy and she supported us with an activity after a company who we thought we had a reservation with could not accommodate our group of 7."

"If you want the perfect beach away from grace bay traffic this is it. We loved every second of being here. The more we would venture out the more we just wanted to go back to the house to hang. It has everything you need from jet skis to beach bars but it’s like you have it to yourself. Can’t say enough good things about this home."

"We stayed here after 4 months cruising on our sailboat. We needed a place to stay while off loading our boat and prepare it for storage. There are several beaches nearby for enjoying the water. The apartment was quiet and peaceful. The views are spectacular, the kayaking is great. Easy in and out access on the waters edge and dock. Outdoor spaces are also very nice."

"Great place; great time! We basically had the sound to ourselves the entire week. Views are even better in person than they appear online. It would be nice to have a larger credit for A/C (power) usage. We only ran A/C in bedrooms at night and went over by $150 for the week. Other than that, place was exceptional."

"Everything better than described. Total privacy with an amazing view and close enough to Grace Bay with a great beach Taylor Bay beach just 5 minutes away. My wife and I enjoyed it so much that if we go back to Turks we will definitely stay here again."

"The house was well equipped and comfortable with plenty of gathering space for our family. The deck, pool area and dock were all nice spaces with spectactular views. We enjoyed watching the sunrise and sipping coffee overlooking the sound. We had a maintenance issue with the pool, but property manager and maintence man addressed it immediately. We truly enjoyed our stay and are thankful to have made wonderful memories on Chalk Sound."

It tends to be a lot cheaper than many other resorts along the Grace Bay beach while it offers all the necessary features of a comfortable hotel (nice pool, friendly/helpful staff, rooms are decently comfortable). "Liked that it was away from other busy hotels, which we intentionally wanted, but did require a 30 minute walk or a taxi ride at $6-$20 per person, depending on time of day/night to get to busier area with restaurants and casino. "

"I would have given 5 stars but office manager wasn’t always accessible. The water would also go in and out at random times so we didn’t have water for showers. I did like that the beach was private and it’s a one minute walk. It was very quiet and secluded in comparison to the resorts. Very clean as well and we had our own pool. Would still highly recommend it. Wish the AC was stronger in the room as well. "
