Very nice place to stay!

The location is a really nice place to stay. Quiet but close to Ceveteri and the beach. The owner is very friendly and helpful. Every thing was perfect!

Beautiful place

This house was the perfect home base for my time in Cerveteri. It was clean and well furnished, with oil and spices available for use. The views were also stunning. I would definitely stay here again and have already recommended it to a family member.

Erholsamer Urlaub mit tollem Pferdeambiente

Wir waren zum 2ten Mal hier. Sehr entspanntes Ferienhaus mit Pferden, Reitmöglichkeit, netter Ort mit Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und leckeren Restaurants, super Strände in der Umgebung. Rundum.. alles was für einen relaxten Urlaub braucht.

Maria Cristina and her daughter Alice were the nicest and most gracious hosts. When we arrived, it was an unusually cold day and Maria Cristina came back with an extra bed quilt for my wife. It turned out that the house is so well insulated (stone walls) that it never got too cold.The property is beautiful with dozens of Olive and fruit trees and roses. The back view is of rolling hills that extend for miles. From the front porch you can see the Tyrrhenian Sea. The yard is adjacent to a horse corral where about 20 horses are kept. My wife enjoyed feeding them carrots and apples. It is extremely quiet and peaceful and feels like you are out in the country, which you are, but it is only a few minutes walk into town. The best of both worlds.The house is fairly large and probably bigger than most of the homes in Cerveteri. We only used the ground floor, but there is an upper loft area with two single beds which would be perfect for two children. The kitchen is fairly large and well equipped, including two refrigerators (but no microwave oven). The main floor has a library area by the entrance, a dining area and a living room with a television and fireplace. Attached to the house, is a brick oven (pizza oven) with a large supply of wood for creative chefs. The bathroom has a standup shower with an endless supply of hot water (I think there is an on demand water heater). There is also a clothes washer.We would definitely stay there again. Alice gets an A for hospitality!

Beautiful and relaxing place.

Staying here was a joy. The location is peaceful yet close to the town where there are plenty of shops and restaurants at hand. We enjoyed walking in the countryside and visiting the necropolis and waterfalls. The house is clean, comfortable and well equipped for self catering. We particularly enjoyed using the wood fired oven to make pizzas and relaxing on the veranda. We highly recommend this place.

Toller Platz um einen super Urlaub zu verbringen!

Das Haus liegt absolut ruhig in Mitten von Olivenbäumen aber wirklich nicht weit nach Cerveteri und auch nicht weit ans Meer. Wir waren mit allem absolut zufrieden, Einrichtung, Service etc. Die Vermieterin sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Einfach perfekt!!!

A great place

A great flat in a perfect location. On the one hand, it's surrounded by the countryside, but you can get to the centre of Cerveteri just as quickly. Ideal also for day trips to Rome, it's only a good half hour from the train station to the station at St. Peter's. If we had any questions, we always got quick and uncomplicated answers. We enjoyed our two-week holiday there and will gladly come back again.

Sehr schönes Ferienhaus in. Toller Lage

Wir haben 16 Tage in den Haus verbracht. Die Lage ist einmalig. Es liegt mitten in der Natur und dennoch fussläufig zum Ort. Wir haben die Strände, Rom, Nekropolen und die Wasserfälle besucht. Das Haus ist absolut zu empfehlen. Vielen Dank! Niko und Familie

Ruhig gelegen-in unmittelbarer Nähe zu den Nekropolen

Allein für die Nekropolen benötigt man schon 2 Tage oder mehr. Das ruhig gelegene Anwesen ist top ausgestattet und verfügt über ein riesiges Wohnzimmer und 2+ Schlafräume plus Küche und Bad und einer riesigen Terrasse. Auch für Rom Ausflügler bestens geeignet. Zum Meer sind es 5 km. Es gibt einige hervorragende Strände ohne lästige Sonnenschirme. Absolut empfehlenswerte Unterkunft.

tres agréable séjour dans un cadre à la compagne

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour de trois semaines en août. Les propriétaires sont très accueillants et très disponibles. La maison est située dans un environnement très calme entourée de pâtures pour chevaux dans une ville chargée d'histoire. Rome est très proche et peut être rejointe en train. la mer est à deux pas. Le lieu est idéal pour découvrir Rome et sa région ainsi que l'héritage étrusque. Je recommande sans hésiter cette location. La mise a disposition de quelques équipements complémentaires comme des vélos rendrait la location parfaite.

Zentral, jedoch ruhig

Wir verbrachten eine wunderschöne Woche in diesem schönen Landhaus. Die Einrichtung ist urwüchsig aber liebevoll. Alles ist sauber. Die Vermieter sind ausgesprochen freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Haus liegt etwas ausserhalb des Ortskerns und man hat einen sehr schönen Blick. Direkt benachbart ist eine Pferdekoppel. In der fussläufig zu erreichenden Altstadt gibt es Geschäfte und Restaurants. Rom ist ca. 40km, der nächste Strand ca. 20km entfernt. Das ideale Quartier für geschichtlich interessierte Urlauber. Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit.

Casale Oliveto della Mola 07/2019

We stayed one week in this beautiful house. It is secluded and very quiet, but only two minutes drive from the center in Cerveteri and 10 minutes the beach. The beach is nice, clean and the water of very good quality. The house is very well equipped with everything you need and the property is large with many olive trees and horses around. The landlady is very nice and the communication is very pleasant with her. Excursions for example to Roma by train in 35 minutes from Marina di Cerveteri and by car to the Lake Bracciano (25 km) are no problem. We felt very well and were certainly not the last time there. Thanks for this nice week.

It was just horrible experience for our family first there's no air conditioning & million flies if u open the door so either suffer from the heat or deal with nasty flies

Super entspannte Ferien

Wir haben 11 wundervolle Tage in diesem schönen Steinhaus unweit vom Meer verbracht und könnten richtig gut entspannen und haben lecker Pizza gebacken. Die Pferde haben eine sehr angenehme Atmosphäre geschaffen. Die Kinder sowie die Erwachsenen konnten ohne Vorkenntnisse reiten. Grazie to Fabricio, der seinen Reiterhof auf der anderen Straßenseite hat! :) Super Restaurant in 5 Gehminuten vom Haus. Es gibt mehrere wilde Strände, auch zum Kitesurfen geeignet :) Und die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und zugleich unaufdringlich. Kurzum, wir hatten einen Superurlaub! 5 Sterne von uns! Hoffentlich bis ganz bald. Thx to Sofia & Carlotta! Hope to See u soon!

Stilvoller, bestens ausgestatteter Landsitz, ideal für eine Familie mit Kindern

Wir waren eine Woche dort und es hat uns sehr gefallen. Wir können uns dem Lob der anderen Gäste nur anschließen. Das Hundegebell aus der Nachbarschaft hätte mich in manchen Nächten allerdings schon beim Schlafen gestört, wenn ich nicht Ohrstöpsel dabei gehabt hätte. Es war gut gereinigt bei Einzug (ein paar Spinnennetze weniger und es wäre top) und es gab alles, was man sich bei einer Ferienwohnung an Ausstattung erwartet (und mehr) - außer (im Sommer) der Klimaanlage. Achtung: Diese ist zwar in der Objektbeschreibung angegeben, es gibt aber "nur" einen guten Deckenventilator im Schlafzimmer und Standventilatoren im Kinderzimmer. Die Lage ist für einen entspannenden Urlaub nahe dem Meer und Kultur ideal und das Haus bietet ein gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Die Vermieter sind auch sehr nett und hilfsbereit.

We stayed at Oliveti Mola for two weeks in the hot italian summer. Christina and Alice are very friendly and attentive hosts, welcoming us heartily with cake and cold drinks. The house is tastefully furnished and comfortable. It is situated in the midst of a paddock with some horses and a lot of olive trees around and protected by wooden fences. Very serene and idyllic! The Mediterranean Sea is just 20 minutes away and the Lago Bracchiano 30 minutes by car. Don't miss the Necropoli di Cerveteri and a walk through the forest along the five cascades and waterfalls! The description of the house was very accurate and the house was well-maintained. Very recommended!!! Dear Christina and Alice, thanks a lot for being so gentle and generous hosts! :-) Ciao per ora!

Einmalig schöne Erholung mitten unter Pferden

Wir haben eine unglaublich erholsame Herbstferienwoche in diesem großen, gemütlichen und sehr gut ausgestatteten Haus verbracht. Es liegtfußläufig zur Stadt, aber doch abseits inmitten von Pferdewiesen. Traumhaft schön! Auf der riesigen, überdachten Terrasse kann man den ganzen Tag verbringen und ist bei vor Sonne und Regen wunderbar geschützt. So haben wir den einen Regentag ebenfalls genossen und die anderen Tage bei 15 bis sogar 24 Grad Ausflüge und Wanderungen in die Wälder der Umgebung gemacht. Das Meer ist 15 Minuten weg. Und ein absolutes Muss und beeindruckend sind die Nekropolen von Cerveteri und die sich anschließende Wasserfall-Wanderung. Sofia hat uns per SMS sehr gut betreut und war immer für uns da. Kurzum: wir haben uns extrem wohl gefühlt und toll und würden jederzeit wiederkommen, auch im Sommer.

très agréable séjour à Cerveteri

Cristina, Alice et leur maman nous ont accueilli en famille pour nous présenter la maison et nous prodiguer des conseils de visites aux alentours. La maison est juste à l'écart de Cerveteri, impression d'être en pleine campagne, alors que le coeur de la ville est à 10 minutes à pied. très pratique pour aller chercher le petit déj ou rentrer du restaurant le soir sans voiture. A ce propos, mention spéciale au Joly café, très simple mais délicieuses pizzas. La maison est entourée d'un grand champ d'oliviers où se promènent qques cheveaux. Les enfants (7_5_2 ans) en ont bien profité pour jouer. A l'intérieur nous avons retrouvé l'ambiance d'une maison de famille avec tout le confort moderne, les enfants ont bien aimé la mezzanine et les nombreux jouets mis à leur disposition. Sans parler de Rome, il y a tellement de choses à faire autour de Cerveteri (sites étrusques, promenades, villages médiévaux, plages... )que nous pensons retourner dans la région et bien entendu séjourner à nouveau dans cette jolie maison familiale. Ländlich authentisches Flair nahe der Metropole Rom

Wir haben das Haus für eine Woche Urlaub mit zwei Kindern gemietet. Wir haben das Haus problemlos gefunden und der Checkin hat trotz unserer ungünstigen Anreisezeit super funktioniert. Wir haben uns sofort wie zu Hause gefühlt. Die Einrichtung ist authentisch und sehr umfangreich. Trotz des historischen Charmes fehlte es uns an keinen modernen Haushaltseinrichtungen - Geschirrspüler, Waschmaschine, etc. sind vorhanden. Die Lage am Rand der Stadt ist traumhaft schön und war sehr gut geeignet den Alltagsstress hinter uns zu lassen, zum Beispiel indem man beim Frühstück auf der Terrasse den Pferden beim Grasen zusieht. Wir haben zwei Ausflüge mit dem Zug von Marina de Cerveteri (kostenlose Parkplätze in Bahnhofsnähe) nach Rom unternommen. Die beeindruckende etruskische Nekropole Banditaccia haben wir zu Fuß besucht. Eine Reihe von Stränden in unterschiedlichem Charakter waren unkompliziert mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Die familiär freundliche Kommunikation mit den Eigentümern haben wir in englischer Sprache geführt. Gern werden wir dieses Haus wieder buchen, wenn wir in der Nähe Urlaub machen wollen.

Sommerurlaub 2023

Die Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin lief problemlos und angenehm. Wir wurden freundlich empfangen und uns wurde alles gezeigt und erklärt. Das Haus ist sehr schön und gut ausgestattet. Es ist so am Rand von Cerveteri gelegen das man tagsüber seine Ruhe haben kann. Trotzdem kann man ohne Probleme zu Fuß im nah gelegenen Laden das Nötigste einkaufen oder in den verschiedenen Restaurants im Ort etwas essen gehen. Mit dem Auto ist man in 10 Minuten am Strand. Mit dem Zug von Marina du Cerveteri , Bahnhof mit kostenlosem Parkplatz, in etwa 40 Minuten im Zentrum von Rom. Zu dem Zeitpunkt unseres Aufenthalts war es sehr warm. Da das Haus nicht klimatisiert ist, mussten wir uns mit den vorhandenen Ventilatoren helfen. Leider war es nachts nicht möglich zu lüften, da wie schon in anderen Bewertungen beschrieben, nachts ununterbrochener Lärm durch Hundegebell herrschte. Das Gebell fing immer gegen 22 Uhr an und war durchgängig bis morgens so laut, das die Fenster der Schlafzimmer geschlossen werden mussten. Da kann natürlich weder die Vermieterin etwas für noch hat das direkt mit dem Haus zu tun. Es sollte aber nicht unerwähnt bleiben weil es doch sehr störend war.

Erholungsurlaub, abseits von Stress und Hektik

Wir (meine Frau, meine Zwei Töchter 13 und 10)haben 2,5 Wochen unseren Sommerurlaub in Cerveteri verbracht. Das Haus liegt in mitten einer Pferdekoppel mit ca. 14-15 Pferden. Die Pferde sind durch einen Zaun vom Haus getrennt. Die Vermieterin teilte uns mit, wenn einem die Pferde stören, könnte man Bescheid geben, dann würde der Weg auf dem man zum Haus fährt für die Pferde abgesperrt werden. -->War aber bei uns kein Problem. Da wir in den Sommermonaten den Urlaub machten, haben wir hauptsächlich die Terrasse genutzt. Diese ist auf Grund der Überdachung vollbeschattet. Das Haus gehört der Vermieterin selbst. Es ist sauber! Geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Da es etwas abseitig gelegen ist, sind die Fensterläden komplett verriegelbar und die Haustür ist nochmal durch ein Stahlgitter sicherbar. Ausserdem besitzt das Haus noch eine Alarmanlage, die wir aber nicht genutzt haben. Cerveteri selbst ist ein verschlafener italienischer Ort. Hier gibt es fast keine Touristen, was den Ort wieder charmant macht. In der Frühe gingen wir zum Bäcker. Nachmittags holten wir uns ab und zu ein Eis. Was unbedingt sehenswert ist in Cerveteri, ist die Nekropoli. Man kommt sich hier vor wie Indiana Jones! Gebadet haben wir immer in Marina di Cerveteri. Der Strand ist schwarz, öffentlich, sauber. Von Marina di Cerveteri kann man auch innerhalb von ca. 45 Minuten nach Rom fahren. Für uns 4 ca. 10 Euro einfache Fahrt. Insgesamt ein gelungener Sommerurlaub. Wir haben die Zeit genossen!!
