"Very unique experience staying in a beautifully horse barn renovated. Delphine was so kind and we had a wonderful stay."

"Excellent, unique place. Very friendly, hospitable and accomodating host. Really nice continental breakfast of fresh produce. Overall experience was fantastic and the house is magnificent."

"As a family of 4 we really liked have adjoining rooms with 2 bathrooms - it was very spacious and convenient."

"Chateau Tilques is located a few miles north of Saint-Omer in a small village. The Hotel comprises a Chateau style hotel and grounds, with an external annex of rooms of some size. I stayed in the annex which was comfortable and well decorated. Some minor issues were irritating. The key-light master switch by the door was hard to locate and too complex to insert the key card to turn on the electricity in the room. Trying to do a fiddly task in the dark is irritating. There was no proper light...

"This is a fantastic place to stay prior to an early morning channel crossing. The hotel really is lovely, as are the reception staff. The rooms are clean, modern and very comfortable, and the hotel parking at the rear is very convenient. We chose not to eat/drink at the hotel and instead walked into the town. It's a fair walk to the centre, but it's worth it as there are plenty of lively bars and large selection of restaurants. We had a great final night before coming home to the UK."

"Spa was voortreffelijk"

"Room was supposed to have coffee machine and for boiling water, but ours certainly did not. It was dirty, from floors, to dust and doors, with some fluids visible. For 3 days, the floor was not cleaned once. Breakfast did not have warm food as their grill was not working, but they suggested to use microwave to warm up cooked eggs and bacon. Localization is quite central, but sometimes, as it is on the bus station and next to train station there were homless people next to entrance. "

"Only used as a base for one night so didn't use the kitchen facilities but it looked like everything was there. Shower was ok. Only issue I had was that the tv remote was different to the instructions provided."

"Nice and quiet. Great location and beautiful surroundings."

"Easy to find"

"Friendly reception staff allowed me an early check in, to a lovely, clean, well-sized room. The stay was comfortable, with my only gripes being an underpowered shower, and the long queues at breakfast. Parking is convenient and safe (extra charge) and the breakfast food was decent quality. "
