"Gorgeous hotel and property. Bed was comfortable and room was very clean. The on site restaurants and coffee shop are very good. There are many places throughout the hotel to sit and relax, read a book, or catch up on work. It is within walking distance to the Nittany Lion Shrine. "

"Each staff member was very, very courteous! They replaced a weak, falling down ironing board immediately.
One negative: before our arrival, a used towel had been left hanging in the bathroom, behind the door.

"My husband and I needed a place to stay last minute and the Northland Motel worked perfectly for us. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. Checking in was easy. The lady working was very welcoming. There was also no noise coming from the bowling alley or restaurant. Andes candies and bottled water was a nice touch. The temperature was comfortable in the room as it was very cold and blustery. We will stay again in the future."

"It is simply unbelievable, we arrived at the room, it was not clean at all, the beds to be done. It was about 8 pm, I complained , and by the next two days, NOTHING WAS DONE AT ALL.
On my third day, I requested the bed sheet and did the beds by my self with the help of another person.
Even though still had another night stay, I gave up , and checked out earlier."
