"I stayed in this hotel room and it was ridiculously hot to the point of being unbearable. The air conditioning either didn’t work or was completely ineffective, and the room felt like a sauna all night. I wasn’t able to sleep at all, which completely ruined my stay. For the price I paid, this is unacceptable. I would not recommend staying here until they fix their temperature control issues."

"Staff were great! Room was a terrific size and the bathroom was stellar. Parking was free. There was no breakfast, but the pub downstairs had games and entertainment. It was summer and quite hot so the windows had to be open resulting in a few spiders making their way in, but that would be expected honestly. I would absolutely stay here again!"

"Coombe Abbey is a beautiful property, with its historic charm carefully preserved. The building and surroundings create a lovely and unique atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was very good, making our stay even more enjoyable. The only point down is that there's no AC in the room, so it can be a little hot in the summer."
