"Loved the location of this hotel. Easy to walk to breakfast, dinner, sites and shopping. Loved the rocking chair front porch. The room was very nice. We got a king sized bed and it was very comfortable. Good use of space in a small room but plenty of room to move. Loved having a refrigerator. Get desserts across the street at the carriage house! "It was early in the season when we visited this year. It was super quiet, the breakfast is always a great perk of staying here, the location is perfect and the large front porch area is my favorite part of the Inn on Mackinac!! Hearing the clopping of the horses and being just outside of the busiest part of Main Street makes the town feel even more special! Our room also had a great view of Main Strret and we were even high enough to see the harbor! It was a Great visit!"

But for what they charge, which I guess is in line with what everyone else charges on the island for rooms, food, and activities, the value is super low. The evening prior to our scheduled arrival, we received a call informing us of electrical issues with our reserved cabin, necessitating an additional charge of $500 beyond our confirmed booking. "Room was okay, comfortable beds and beautiful view. Breakfast was ridiculous! Tiny room and not well supplied. The worst was that the advertised hot tub was closed (for maintenance) and I had to chosen this place with a hot tub as high priority"
