"The rooms have been nicely refurbished.
However several details needed attention they are the following:
1. The TV reception is very bad a station would be on then go off for several minutes, come back on only to go black again for several minutes. No point in trying to watch anything.
2. The coffee maker did not work. We tried in several outlets but it did not light.
3. The shower was very difficult to adjust the temp, it was either scalding hot or freezing cold. For safety I would...

"The hotel is conveniently located 30 minutes away from Sleeping Bear Dunes, 40 minutes away from Traverse City, and only 10 minutes away from Frankfort if you're looking for good restaurants. The room was clean, the king size bed was super comfortable, and the shower is nice and hot. There is also a private beach right behind the hotel.
