"The friendliest reception in Bulgaria yet. The staff, amazing. The property, amazing. The location and view (guess) - amazing. There is a restaurant 3 steps away w wonderful food and service, the room was HUGE, parking was a breeze and the breakfast is phenomenal. It’s not modern. It’s old world, clean, quiet, lovely and has good beds. We needed to book this due to a last minute change in plans and couldn’t be happier

"Everything was okay. They have a restaurant that works until 23h. If you don’t have a car, it’s far from the city center (like 3km). The parking is in the street, and they have a covered parking. "
"O quarto está bem decorado e confortável, todavia a limpeza pode ser melhorada. Existiam várias teias de aranha espalhadas pelo quarto e casa de banho.
O mais estranho e desconfortável foi a casa de banho ser minúscula sem cabine de duche. Tomávamos banho literalmente em cima do lavatório e da sanita, deixando tudo molhado."

"Magical location, really romantic and serene. We stayed at the castle which was a great and unique experience. We had a little issue with the toilet seat and the room was a bit small but I guess this was part of the charm of the place. Staff were really nice and friendly especially the somellier, yet some of them were very young and clearly needed some additional training. However, breakfast was nice and wine and rakish were divine. Place has so much charm and is really really unique."
"The receptionist was excellent. As a foreigner, her welcome and kindness was above and beyond, thank you kindly. The rest of the staff were also amazing. I will never forget the woman at breakfast bringing me Mikitsi with icing sugar, and telling me eat…eat, so personal and sweet. The spa is included, except for the turkish bath, and it was clean and refreshing after a long day of travelling. The hottub could of been a little hotter and with more jets, but nevertheless good enough. I would...

"I would never stay at that hotel. The room smelled like sewage. We brought it up to staff and they said that all of the rooms smelled like that.... at one point we were the only ones at the hotel, and now I understand the reason.
The staff were very nice, but sleeping with the smell of sewage was a very unpleasant experience.
