"Cozy feeling to the cabin..beautiful, peaceful setting on the lake. We saw deer walking through the yard! So amazing! Will definitely return for another stay. We hosted a family cookout for about 12 people, and one family member requested information and interest about property for his own famiky getaway. The hist was always prompt about answering all questions we had. Really enjoyed our stay"

"My 8yr old son and I were in town for one night and needed a place to stay. Found the Blank Slate bus and jumped on it, AFTER reading all of the details. We could not have had more fun! Everything was tidy and clean. Having most of our camping supplies, we were over prepared. Once we got settled in for the night, it was all we needed. Waking up in a forest but only a few miles from civilization was a plus.Could not recommend more! It was lovely."

"This is the sweetest little lake house. Very beautiful and quiet. We need to come back when we can just sit on the deck and enjoy the space. The house had plenty of linens, coffee and some cute little gifts. The bed was very comfortable. The shower does make a loud noise when you turn it on. But nice hot water. "

"If we could give more than FIVE STARS, we would! My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely home, and the host was extremely engaging and helpful. Mary was so responsive to every question, and even took the time to give local restaurant and attraction suggestions! This sweet, older home was full of character, clean, and included all of the conveniences and amenities needed for a wonderful stay. It’s also a short, easy drive to Virginia Tech, but far enough away from the bustle...

"This property is in a super convenient location in the downtown area. While it is an older house, it has plenty of space for a party of 6 - only downside is that there is only one full bathroom so that can get tricky but totally understand based on the age and size of the home. The fenced in yard was nice for the dog who absolutely loved the ducks in the next door neighbor’s yard. The kiddos loved the tire swing in the back as well. Overall, good spot to be for game weekend. "

"A very nice house to stay for the weekend, it was clean and had a wonderful view. Walking down to the river was not bad but I would recommend the host really fix up a trail/path down that hill. Kayaks were nice to use, fishing was fun, hot tub worked great, beds were comfy, couches were comfy, house was awesome! "

"No Check in as 21:30 h do dia 16/07 não foi tão bom, estamos exaustos e aguardamos 15 minutos na recepção, pq o pessoal estava na parte de traz batendo papo . Mas no dia seguinte tudo compensou , maravilhoso , o rapaz da loja de produtos Durty dancing, foi incrível , deixei todas as minhas diletas lá kkkk comprei muito , 500,00 dollares com muito gosto. Não teve como segurar as lágrimas de emoção, aquilo era um sonho realizado . O lago não tem mais, mas tudo vale a pena , O café da manhã maravilhoso, eu comi muito pouco , sou vegetariana e pra mim nsl tinha quase opção , a não ser algumas frutas e omelete com vegetais. Atendimento maravilhoso no restaurante . Super recomendo , e quem for super fã como eu, certeza que irá se emocionar . Bom passeio, aproveite o máximo Ah não vá no inverno, muita subida, serração, neblina e neve , local difícil pata essa época. Bom passeio , curtam muito Obrigada a todos do Montain Lake Lodge , eu amei 🙏❤️"
