Great Texas getaway

We enjoyed staying at the cabin with our small children. There was so much to do on the property to keep my toddler busy. What a neat experience to walk outside our door and have all the animals right there!

Anniversary trip

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay. The staff Crystal and Ethan were amazing!! They helped make our stay and activities enjoyable. Loved that all the animals had names. Morning greetings fromJake were sweet and learned to never turn your back on Thumper LOL!!! Bear is such a sweetheart and really enjoys riding the golfcart. It was nice to meet Mr Rowdy too. Definitely will be returning with the rest of the family.

Our stay was wonderful. Everyone on the ranch was helpful and nice. Great place to get away from the city to enjoy the atmosphere and get up close to the animals. Would definitely go again!!

Great spot for a getaway!

My wife and I stayed here when attending a Texas A&M football game. Everything was easy to get to, comfortable accomodations, and beautiful property. Great spot for families, too, with all the animals.

Great weekend getaway to relax refresh and recharge

We stayed at the cabin. Woke up to deer ponies chickens looking for a snack and a snuggle. Ride the golf cart, made our meals in our little kitchen except the night we went into town for steak at Leona General Store. Owners were so helpful and welcoming. Crystal was knowledgeable and helpful, sharing the stories of the animals, and Ethan was delightful, helpful and full of information. Already thinking we need to plan a trip back with family. 5 star all the way!

Amazing property and so much fun on the ranch!

We had an amazing stay at Rockn Rowdy Ranch! Sue and team had fantastic communication leading up to our stay. Crystal and Randy on-site were extremely welcoming and helpful. You basically get to check in and then have the ranch to yourself to interact with the animals and scenery. We had a fantastic time wandering the grounds and getting close to the animals, and our dog was excited to meet all the new friends! If you do have a dog, we recommend staying at the Cabin, as it has a great fenced in yard so you can let them offleash and they can still interact with the animals on the otherside (for our stay, it was Mule Deer and Scottish Highland Cattle that were in the adjoining pens). We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, but did want to mention a few things to be aware of: - You are right off the highway, so you will get highway noise pretty much 24/7. You won't hear any of it in your lodging, but it is always there as you walk around the ranch, so it's not a full escape to the country, etc - The drinking water from the kitchen is very well filtered and tastes great, but there was a sulfur smell in the bathroom water. Not a huge issue, but something to be aware of. Overall, we can't recommend Rockn Rowdy Ranch enough!

Another Great Stay

This was our second stay and we enjoyed it as much as the first stay we had in Dec of 2019. It is great to walk the property with our two Greyhounds and enjoy the interaction between the properties animals and our dogs. As always, Crystal was awesome and very helpful if we needed anything. We will definitely be back.

Wonderful property and staff

We came here for Thanksgiving and our experience was simply wonderful. Sherry's favorite breed of cattle are the Highlands and she almost cried when she saw them. The donkeys, deer, chickens, and horses are a pleasure to be around and Randy is the salt of the earth. We are already talking about another visit.

Good times

We had a great time. It was relaxing and quiet. We were primarily left alive except when we reached out to them. Had a great time feeding the animals, talking with Randy and Rowdy, skeet shooting and learning about the animals with Crystal. We will definitely return with friends and family.

Perfect Cabin

Everything about the cabin was perfect for a weekend anniversary getaway. My husband and I really enjoyed ourselves. The animals are amazing and not afraid of human interaction. Bear(dog) totally won me over but going with us in the golf cart. Loved watching the exotics, with absolutely no cares. Only down fall.. closeness to I-45. When outside there is road noise at cabin. Inside you donā€™t hear in. And towards the back where exotics are you donā€™t know it. Not a big enough down to keep us from coming back. Want to bring the family next time.

GREAT GETAWAY

This place is fantastic. My wife, 2 dogs, and I came here for a long weekend. Great communication by Sue before our arrival. Was greeted at the gate and shown to our cabin. Very cute and neat cabin, exactly as described. Animals all over the place, but we ALWAYs felt safe. In fact, we had to make sure our dogs didn't chase the deer or emus. We saw Sue about twice during our stay, she made sure everything was OK, but was NOT intrusive. The animals at the Sarari are fantastic. We recommend this place 100% and plan on staying again.

Great cabin! Animal Lovers!

We had a lovely time at this ranch. The cabin was wonderful! Everything we could have needed and more. We truly enjoyed all the animals, especially that turkey. She's a trip. Cinnamon the goat, the mini donkeys, the horses, and the pack of Pyrenees are a joy. We are grateful to be able to bring our dogs along, and they too had quite an experience. We recommend this little cabin, and will come back again.
