"Because it was late September it was very quiet and remote in its woodland setting. We loved the solitude and the drive back into the woods to discover a nice dock that projected out into Squam Lake for watching sunsets and relaxing in the sunny afternoons! We kept hoping to see a loon, but that did not occur, but we did hear them occasionally. We also enjoyed finding out more about them at the Loon Center nearby. I am a painter and enjoyed plein air painting the lake and woods."

"The cabin is clearly loved and cared for, clean and well equipped with all that was needed for dinners in with a new baby. The location is excellent to jump over to Winnipesaukee or up to the white mountains. The canoe was fast and the dock was perfect for sunsets. The only think that could have made it any better would be a swim dock as I like to spend a lot of time in the lake. It definitely didn't prevent swimming or fun in the water. We had a great time and would stay again. . "
