Lucretia, While I feel bad that you didn't enjoy your stay at the cabin, absolutely nothing was brought to my attention or the owners attention. I had absolutely no communication from you at all, not even a thank you when I sent your check in information. Having that clarified, how would I have known anything was wrong with a sink handle? Secondly, nobody was in the cabin with your dogs and valuables. We NEVER enter a cabin without guests' knowledge and approval. If you had issues, you certainly should have contacted me, gave me a chance at least before leaving a review with totally false information.

Theodore, Thank you for the nice review. The cabin isn't Quite 100 years old, but it has been there 23 years and has been well used in those years. LoL It was the first cabin that the owner ever built, and was a family used cabin most of those years. If you would like a more modern stay, we can definitely show you our larger more modern cabin. Thank you for your kind words. We do our best to give our guests an excellent experience. We have had many families/pets enjoy our cabin in the Snowy Range. The hot tub has been noted as a high point by many. Our cabin has a lovely, rustic charm with all the modern conveniences enjoyed by many.(Unlimited high speed internet, Modern appliances and comfy bedding for 6-8). We have learned that reliable comfort is key. The new hot tub has circulating pumps rather than high pressure jets as they were a reliability issue with the old one. We strive to keep you warm with three heat sources and a nice hot shower. I Talked to the "Guy Upstairs" about that pre-Christmas storm scaring the kids but haven't heard back yet. Thank you. Hi Monica. It was great having you stay the weekend. Sorry about the bulb on the porch motion sensor. Now that our kids are older and snowboarders we spend more time up here in the winter than in the summer. I can't believe that we used to have the hot tub out on the back deck in the elements.LOL. The new glass enclosure makes it so it's the first place the kids head when they get here. See you again soon.

Sorry for your difficulties. We do tend to attract more of the outdooor set. If you had let us know of any special needs we would have been happy to help. We do choose to haul water up from Laramie rather than less palatable well water so the showers are not infinite, but fully adequate. We have many return guests that fully love their "cabin on the hill". We hope you enjoy your travels. The owner

Ann, I couldn't agree more with you on the unfortunate confusion with the guests that accidently checked into your cabin. That was stressful, but directly rectified to the best of my ability.
