"The staff at the Chalet Motel in Mequon confirmed that I booked a room 2 months in advance but they got overbooked when a youth baseball team arrived and when I tried to check-in at 9:30pm there was no room available to me. It took them at least 30 minutes for them to just tell me there’s no room for us. Thankfully, Expedia eventually took care of us by putting us in a nicer hotel at no extra cost."

"The room was clean and very comfortable. The lounge had several free treats for us. The in-house restaurant however was not open, and was supposed to be. We will probably have to check that out next. Everyone needs to know that there is currently no elevator, so you need to be capable of walking up stairs to you room. And we knew that."

"No elevator. I walked the entire first floor twice thinking I somehow missed seeing the elevator. I finally asked the front desk where it was and was told there isn’t one. I don’t mind using the stairs but when you load the dolly cart full and push it down the hallway to use the elevator it would be helpful if the staff tells you there is t an elevator upon checking you in on the second floor. There is only one ice machine"
