"Nice quiet little getaway. Upstairs was hot even with the ceiling fan going and air on downstairs, but heat rises sooo no ones fault. Very nice place... we laughed because there was a bowl of water left on the table...not really sure why and didn't warrent saying anything to owner (entertaining memory for sure.) We'd definitely stay again and would recommend to anyone. "

"The home was extremely clean and spacious! I’m picky when it comes to cleanliness and everywhere in this rental was completely clean. The bathrooms are newly remodeled and are beautiful. The pictures don’t show how large all the rooms in the home actually are. We cooked dinner and the home had all of the things we might need. Starved Rock State Park is only a few minutes drive away. The weekend bands playing were fun along with the cornhole and miniature golf that was only a short walk away. I...

"Easy check in at this unique 1950s prefab bungalow. Enjoyed learning about history of this home from the book, pictures and other documents about Lustron on site. Plenty of nostalgia with all the modern comforts. Very clean and well stocked home. This was our first visit and will definitely come back."

"The house was perfect, beautiful, hardwood floors, completely redone bathrooms with all of an older homes charm restored. There are all kinds of unique, thoughtful touches, including a working record player with plenty of albums to choose from. Just two blocks from the park, it is perfectly located. I would definitely recommend!"

"Stayed at this gem for 2 nights, it was close to a family members wedding in Tonica. Just a lovely place, has everything you need. Great nights sleep, it was so quiet. I would go back if we are ever out that way again."
