A genuine breather, in the midst of things!
Waking to the sound of happy seabirds pulled us straight to the balcony each morning. Breakfast and dinner hours for the masses of dolphin showing off, could not help but make us smile! Plenty of towels (including make-up wash cloths & beach towels) was a plus and the kitchen was fully stocked to cook 3 meals a day. We ate at STEAMERS on the boardwalk one night for clams and oysters, & they did not disappoint! Laying on the beach & Kayaking to the deserted isle of Atsena Otie's cemetery was so cool, but bring bug spray! The Prickly Palm on D St was a terrific spot to eat breakfast & iced coffees, on the way out of town.

Loved every minute!
Ticked every box! Lovely, clean, comfortable. You can spend all day watching dolphins and seabirds. Wake up early for the sunrise or head to the Tiki bar for the sunset. Or both! I can't wait to come back!

A little slice of Heaven
BETTER than advertised! VERY clean! Offered touches of home that you wouldn't think to pack, right down to laundry basket, chip clips, cook books, etc.. Dolphins play often, all day long. The people there are so friendly. All around excellent place to be.

Great getaway
Great little place if you want to just get away from it all! We enjoyed sitting on the balcony listening to the waves and watching the dolphins. Easy walk to wherever you want to go in town.

Cannot say enough about the condo!! Very clean, very comfortable and the view is amazing, literally right on the water. The kitchen offered all you need to make meals. We didn't nees to speak with the property manager. The directions given were self explanatory. Hoping we can come back for a longer stay.

Total Escape for two weeks, loved it!
A perfect location in a wonderful condo. Very clean, all the necessary items one might need for cooking in the kitchen. The bathroom had plenty of usable items also. The furniture was comfortable, including the bed. We enjoyed the private deck every day. Watched EVERY sunrise, enjoying the birds, the fishermen going by and in the afternoon, we were entertained watching the wind surfer. A very peaceful, relaxing place to visit. There are several good restaurants, two nice Art Galleries, and more to explore. We spent one day fishing with a local charter guy and caught enough tasty fish for three meals! We will visit again!

Much needed get away!
Had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday in Cedar Key. Condo was perfect, clean and right on the water stunning sunsets and sunrises. We rented a golf cart (great way to explore) but it’s only a short walk to restaurants and shops and fishing Pier. Will definitely return.

Absolutely amazing!!!
We just spent two days here. Everything was exactly as advertised. The unit was immaculate and had everything we needed and then some. The sunrises were the best I’ve seen. Cute little fishing town with great food and people. We will definitely come back to this unit when we return. Thanks so much!!!

Short getaway.
Condo was as listed. Awesome view right on the water. Quiet location with plenty to do. Kayaks available, pool was awesome and very friendly neighbors. Plenty of parking for our boat and boat dock and fish cleaning table was clean and very nice. Can easily walk anywhere in town. We will be back.

Wonderful 10/10!!!
We absolutely loved this condo. The condo itself was clean and adorable, and the location was perfect. It was an easy walk to all the restaurants and shops, yet still felt super private. My favorite part was the balcony. We watched amazing sunrises and saw dolphin playing and jumping. We will definitely stay here again!

Clean w/Great Waterfront View
Very clean and well appointed one bedroom condo that does have Both keurig and drip coffee makers. Buy groceries and bug spray on the way in. Seriously. Restaurants on Cedar Key are 1 to 3 stars at best. Nothing’s open past 9pm and forget Chinese takeout. A few local art shops, prop plane or airboat tours and some muddy water fishing seem to be the highlights (no 5G btw). It’s a pure old fashioned R&R spot but not much more. Lesley the owner answers texts promptly from an Alabama area code but needs a local handyman to handle issues such as poor Wi-Fi strength and a disconnected bedroom TV (apparently she just switched to Spectrum from DirecTV the weekend I arrived). At the highest rate of the year that was disappointing.

Relaxing Weekend
This was a great location for our first time in Cedar Key. We loved the condo and saw lots of dolphins from the balcony. The moon was showing off and lit up the whole sky over the water, it was stunning. We were very cozy and felt right at home.

Fantastic view!

Loved this place.
Everything was perfect no complaints! We spent so much time on the balcony watching birds and looking at stars. Beautiful sunrises. We were especially lucky our first morning to have White Pelicans greeting us. Kitchen was well equipped, but we didn’t do any cooking. Convenient location for all the restaurants and shops. We will be back!

Exceptional & well appointed
Exceptional view of the gulf. Therapy session listening to lapping ocean waves, moon rises, & sunrises. Wow! This balcony gives a prime view of gulf ocean with coastal birds all day long until sunset when thousands of birds move to barrier wildlife preserve before your eyes. Bring binoculars! Well appointed unit with everything you need. Quaint town with a top notch restaurant within walking distance. Went to several state parks & botanical cedar lake woods & gardens. Great home base location and we will return.

Wonderful Stay!
This was our first trip to Cedar Key. The trip didn't disappoint, and "Beachfront Cedar Key Retreat" was a huge part of it. The condo was incredibly clean, quiet, spacious, and loaded with many extra little things like books, card games, board games, etc. It was fully equipped with everything needed to cook & have your own meals there at the condo, & within a short walking distance (5-8 minutes) to Dock Street & many restaurants, gift stores, bars, etc. It was equipped with both a Keurig and traditional coffee maker, a washer and dryer, dishwasher, and many other things that just made our stay here simply relaxingly easy. The wildlife just out the backdoor and off the balcony was jaw dropping. From fish jumping, to dolphins playing just off the shoreline during the day and night, to eagles, falcons, gulls, pelicans all flying overhead and over the gulf, we were just overwhelmed by all that surrounded us. The sunrises and sunsets from the condo were some of the best and most intense I've ever seen. They were absolutely breath-taking. We look forward to our next trip to Cedar Key, & "Beachfront Cedar Key Retreat" will be the first place we look to see if it's available.

Cedar Key property
The condo is beautifully decorated with all the amenities you might need. It is within walking distance of the center of town, and offers great views of the water and all the birds passing by. The pool was a pleasant bonus. I would go back in a heartbeat.

Really nice place on the Gulf
Very nice place. The view is spectacular. The walk into town is very short. The pool and hot tub were great. The tub was 100 and the pool 82 degrees. So clean and well kept. That is a gem. We really enjoyed it. Cedar Key is a quiet little shell fishing community surrounded by some pretty remote land. Enjoy the tranquility.

Great View, Needs Work
This is a great location. The view from the balcony is terrific. The bathroom plumbing is a problem. The sink water flow was a trickle and unusable. The shower would be lukewarm, then hot, then barely flowing, and sometimes go cold. It was difficult to have a decent temperature and water flow for a shower. One other issue is the smell. The condo had an extreme use of fragrances. If I did not sleep with the bedroom window open I would wake with a headache from the fragrance odors. I do not like writing this negative review and I would prefer not to have to do so. But people need to know what they are getting into.

Has it all - location, view, cleanliness
The property is beautiful. Direct waterfront view. Clean. Well-supplied. Beautiful interior decorations. Perfect location to do everything Cedar Key has to offer. Pool and hot tub crystal clean. Enjoyed everything. Kayaking, plane watching, dining, shopping, and lots of bike riding. Note some other units offered bicycles and a kayak, but this unit did not have those particular amenities. But was easy enough to rent a short walk away. The unit is only accessible by stairs so if you can't climb stairs this is not the unit for you. But it was no problem for us.
