Overall bad value. This was so much worse than other 2.5 star hotels we stayed at during the same trip.
Check in time is 3pm, we arrived a few minutes after 3pm and the receptionist told us the room wasn't ready. She didn't volunteer any information when the room would be ready. We came back an hour later, and were given a room that stank of smoke. I complained about this right away, and we did get another room that was ok.
This hotel is old (maybe from the 80s) and it definitely shows. Everything is worn down, the furniture is scratched, drawer didn't open, etc. It's clean, though.
The breakfast on the second day, a bit before 8am (breakfast time was from 6 - 9am) was almost completely empty (we got the last two slices of toast). In part because a tour bus group was there, in part because the person taking care of the breakfast area had a nice chat with the receptionist.
