"We had the best time at Matthew’s property! We had 3 families staying (one with 2 younger kids) and having separate bedrooms and bathrooms was perfect for us. Check in was super simple and we didn’t have any issues. The house was super clean and the amenities were excellent - the hand soap smelled so good; we loved that he provided shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in each of the bathrooms; towels were also provided, both for showers and the beach. "Came to get away from the daily grind looking for peace and relaxation. It delivered! The seclusion, wildlife, fire on the river was exactly what we all needed. The house was cleaned very well and the AC was great during the hot weather. "

"Stunning property on a beautiful lake made for the perfect up north July vacation. Lake was super clean and had significantly less boat traffic compared to nearby lakes. The best part was its central location to Traverse City, Sleeping Bear, Suttons Bay, etc. Would highly recommend. "

We biked, fished, hiked, played golf at Manitou Passage, watched beautiful sunsets at the beach, and played games around the bonfire. "Beautiful home, beds/furniture were very cozy, kitchen was decently stocked with basic cooking needs. Also really enjoyed the layout of the home. The walk to the beach was across a busy road, so water access isn’t necessarily right off the property but still easy to get to. I’d say overall a great place to rent - great location!"
