"Simonetta was delightful and explained everything very well. When we needed her she responded quickly. The little house is adorable and had everything we needed. The view- Fantastic!! A lovely patio and chairs to sit on as we sipped the wonderful wine from her vineyard and enjoyed the view. We also enjoyed meeting her son who runs the wine shop and helped us decide with our tastings. Orvieto is an ancient city not to be missed. "

"My friends kept thinking we were just sending them pictures of postcards and not actual photos of Gian's Villa! The beauty and architecture was only outdone by the peaceful and picturesque beauty of living atop an Umbrian Villa for the week. "This was our favorite place we stayed out of six during our two week trip.The apartment was spacious, super clean, and had the best balcony view of the Duomo.Our host was very easy to communicate with and left us a bottle of wine and appetizers that were delicious. None of us wanted to leave!"

"Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt im Herrenhaus. Der Pool ist großartig, der Blick atemberaubend und die Ausstattung ist super. Wir waren eine Gruppe von 14 Personen plus zwei Kinder. Jeder hatte sein eigenes Schlafzimmer inkl. Bad. Die Bäder sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen und leider riecht es etwas aus dem Abfluss. Das Haus an sich ist sehr alt und das Leitungswasser nicht trinkbar. Alles in allem hatten wir eine tolle Zeit. "

"Very nice villa to relax in the countryside. The town of Fabro is only a 15 minute ride to restaurants, train station(free parking) and other shops. We found the villa to be very spacious and relaxing. One item to note, there was seven cats (at the time of our stay) living outside the doors of the property. We were told to feed, some bring some cat food."

"Logement très atypique spacieux et confortable. La fraîcheur induite des vieux murs en pierre a été un vrai plus vu la température extérieure. Top le tri des poubelles dans la cuisine. Peu de lumière naturelle vu la taille des fenêtre de l’époque mais on ne peut pas tout avoir. Giana est très accueillante et au petit soin pour le petit déjeuner au top !"

"The White House is charming, beautifully decorated, and has the amenities it promises. Luigi was the most accommodating host and even provided us transportation to the train station! "Nous avons été accueillis par les hôtes les plus charmants qu’ils soient dans une maison très calme avec une très belle vie et une grande piscine. Tout était impeccable. La maison est une bonne base arrière pour visiter la région d’Orvieto, le nord du Latium, l’ouest de l’Ombrie et le sud de la Toscane. Pour info, il y avait 3 chats (très sympas !). "This house exceeded our expectations. We had a fantastic time staying there and exploring it. It was very centrally located for day trips and we were available to explore the Umbria region which was also wonderful and better than we expected. One suggestion I would make is that directions for access to the internet and how to work the air conditioning could be included in a welcome booklet. Thanks Richard"
