Private cabin gettaway. 5 minutes from Cave Spring Ga. 15 minutes from Rome, Ga, Berry College and Shorter College. Full kitchen includes range, microwave, dishwasher, coffee pot with complementary coffee included for your entire stay! L/R has a Double Recliner sofa and separate recliner. End tables w/lamps. Wood Stove and electric heat. Lofted Ceiling. Loft B/R & powder bath with queen size bed in a sleeping nook, dresser, chest of drawers, night stand w/lamp. 1st floor Bathroom shower. W/D combo. Small dinette. Covered Back Porch with a wonderful bed swing, a wood stove and a beautiful bluff overlook down onto the river below! Good water to the dock year round! Navigable by boat from Brushy Branch boat ramp just a few minutes away! Side covered porch overlooks the catfish pond only 20 ft away. Porch Rockers and a Porch Bed Swing! Flat Screen TV/ DVD combo. More than 150 movies and documentaries. A/C. Outdoor campfire area. Fishing poles and tackle box provided for your stay! This is NOT a community of rental cabins.
Neighbors are more than 100 yds away on each side. Private, Peaceful and Serene. Absolutely one of the best deals you will find on all of VRBO or HOMEAWAY! The nightly rate beats every local hotel! All we ask is a very small cleaning fee per stay of $75. as a "Pay it forward" for the cleaning crew. They do a great job and you will find the cabin to be spotless with a fresh non-smoking interior. Please read all of our guest reviews. Here is what Caitlin has to say...Tremendous cabin with heaven-like views! Photos on the site don't do it justice - it took my breath away when I first saw it. So many seating options around the property with an amazing private dock that is perfect for watching the sunset on. Definitely bring someone to share it with, because the beauty is too good to experience alone.

Cozy Cabin

This was a beautiful stop for my wife and me while we were on our way to Florida. The cabin is very cozy and comfortable. Sitting in the swing on the porch with our coffee while we watched the sun rise was an excellent treat. We both wish we could have stayed longer.

Little getaway

Beautiful place. Very peaceful. I wished the ladder to the sleeping area was a little easier to get up. But there is a pullout couch so that helps. We loved the area and everyone we ran into was very friendly.

Such a wnderful cabin!

Took a little bit to find in the dark, but we are so glad we did. Everything was wonderful! It is so quiet and peaceful there. The cabin is beautifully decorated, and the scenery is awesome! I spent one whole morning and part of the afternoon on the porch, just listening to the rain come down and looking out at the lake. My wife almost had to bring breakfast out to me because i didnt want to go in! Definitely hope it is available the next time I am in the area.

Fall Get Away

It was very nice, clean and conveniently located. The only downfall, we were unable to sleep in the upstairs loft as the steps were too steep, so we had to sleep on the pull-out sofa which was not so comfortable. All-in-all, a good stay.

Beautiful and Relaxing

The cabin is located in a beautiful rural area surrounded by a pond and a river. The cabin was cozy and we mostly enjoyed the oversized swing on the back deck overlooking the river. We spent most of our time on the swing relaxing and enjoying the beautiful weather and views. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we look forward to staying again if we are ever back in the area. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home.

Anniversary Trip to Rome

My husband and I enjoyed our much needed anniversary weekend at the cabin! We relaxed on the porch, napped on the porch swing, fished in the pond and the lake and enjoyed dinner and a walk downtown Rome. The cabin itself, inside was clean and cozy, with everything we needed, but the outside is where we spent a majority of our time, laughing, talking, and listening to music. I highly recommend the cabin for a nice, quiet get away with your significant other or your family! The hosts were wonderful and easy to get in contact with! Thank you for our wonderful anniversary weekend!

Relaxing getaway

Perfect relaxing getaway surrounded by trees and nature. Very close to a cute small town with great restaurants and shopping. Owners were very helpful and had great communication. Will definitely come back if we are ever in the area again.

Tranquil and sweet

This adorable cottage was as sweet as it gets -- the place was spotlessly clean, charming, cozy, amazingly private. My favorite part was the back porch where there is a giant swing bed, loaded with pillows. Our weather turned off unexpectedly cold or I would have stayed out there the whole time! The town of Cave Spring is also delightful. It feels like Mayberry. It only has one grocery store but we found everything we needed there (we came with nothing!) We spent a lot of time shopping in town and just loved that. The steakhouse in town was superb. Rolater Park is a dream too, with the spring right there where you can fill up your jugs with delicious fresh water. My only complaint was that the cabin doesn't have wifi...I had to go to town to get cell service and to use my computer (which I needed, for work). That could actually be good, if you need to unplug. I want to go back at some point, to do just that. Can't say enough about the property's serenity and how the owner has the place done up just perfectly. They had a lot of DVDs and we enjoyed watching movies the day it rained. There is no cable connection. So unplug, and get yourself some relaxation and peace!

Relaxing and cozy

The property was very nice and clean. We had a very nice time. Everything we needed was provided. We did buy some extra wood for the fireplace as we had snow the first day there. It was very relaxing. We would definitely go back.

Perfect place to reset

My family and I had the best time! The property is better then what was expected. It was clean, well decorated/ cozy, and in a great location. We were able to get the rest that was well needed and spent plenty of quality time together. It was above and beyond our expectations and we will most definitely come back asap. The sleeping space was our only obstacle as the only bed was in a loft and there was no where for the kids to sleep but a palette on the floor. We made due and still enjoyed our stay but next time we won't bring our kids. Thank you again for allowing us to stay! See you very soon!

Super Nice!

This cabin was lovely! We had a great time relaxing and fishing. The turtles bit everything we put out in the water, but eventually we caught about five catfish and bream, all catch and release. Thank you for sharing your property with us!

Beautiful, rustic cabin

The owners truly thought of everything. If you forgot it, the owners remembered it for you. Fully stocked restroom, kitchen cookware, grilling tools, fishing poles, etc. The locals were friendly and welcoming, the views were gorgeous, we even caught a catfish! We can't wait to come back!

Lovely getaway. A place to decompress and disconnect.

Absolutely beautiful!

Thank you so much for allowing us to stay at your beautiful cabin. From the moment we opened the door, we were amazed at all the little details that stood out. Everything was perfect inside & outside. The bed was super comfortable & the 2 of us fit perfectly. As for the fishing, we couldn't put our lines out without getting a fish. They just kept on coming. I think the swing bed was our favorite thing of all. We can't wait to comeback again. Thank you again. 😊

Peaceful

We enjoyed the cabin and were very happy that the air conditioner worked well since the weather was unusually hot. We brought our own canoe and enjoyed paddling on the peaceful water - only having to share it with fishermen, who wanted the same quietness. The back porch overlooking the water provided a great view and the large padded swing was relaxing. We appreciate the DVD selection of movies and the option of watching movies in the den or while lying in bed.

Always leave something better than you find it.

Thatis hard to do here. It was immaculately clean. It is the most well stocked place we have ever stayed, even down to the q-tips under the bathroom sink and a first aid kit in the kitchen. I did find the hummingbird nectar and refill the feeder. The only thing I could say was that whoever maintains the grounds should take the blower to the porch to get all the grass off the swings and chairs from mowing and weedeating. Aside from that, I would definitely recommend this place and we will stay again.

Absolutely fabulous!

We are so blessed to have found this sweet gem! EVERYTHING was just perfect! The cabin is so charming and CLEAN!! There are so many thoughtful touches in this home. My favorite was the lovely quilt folded just right on the porch bed swing. I had several great naps on it! The fishing was great and we appreciated the fish food to "warm them up". We have rented several places through VRBO in years past, but I have to say this one is by far our all time favorite. We've shared the link to this home with several of our friends, so we hope they enjoy it as much as we did. The owners are VERY kind and communication was fantastic. Thank you again for the blessing of making such a wonderful sanctuary in your little cabin!

Hidden Gem!

My husband, two boys, and I spent the last 4 days unplugging and just relaxing with each other. As soon as we pulled up to the cabin, we were in love! My boys fished from sun up to sun down each day, and both caught catfish! They were so excited. I enjoyed swinging on the porch and reading a book, while taking in the scenery of my family by the water. A pleasant surprise is that not only did we have a view of the pond, but a beautiful creek from the porch as well! The cabin itself was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Cave Spring, GA. was just a short drive away, and we spent one afternoon in town visiting local shops and having a steak dinner at Linde Marie’s - it was fabulous! This will be our new easy trip for unwinding, for sure.
