"Great pub restaurant environment with great outside seating area by the river, good food and helpful staff."

"This is a new hotel. Rooms well appointed and there is a very helpful lift. Adequate parking is available outside. The breakfast is excellent and is restocked regularly. On the down side. They could do with a better stocked bar. There is not much choice of food places in the area. The pub opposite is very noisy and busy. Everywhere else is a drive. Most nights we went into the hotel next door for beers etc. so that is another possibility"

"A large and impressive hotel with great facilities. Unfortunately, we found the bed in our deluxe room uncomfortable and creaky and the room lacked basics such as milk and cold water. The food and drinks were delicious however, and we enjoyed the pool."

"Booked as we had an early flight from East Midlands airport. Owner met us soon after we arrived. Nice room, great comfy bed, very good shower. Advised there was a good restaurant just down the road (15 min walk) which we visited and had a very tasty meal. Left in the morning too early for breakfast, but not host’s fault. Very good nights sleep. Plenty of parking. Road to airport a bit narrow and windy, but we made it in plenty of time. Would recommend."

"O hotel é parte da rede de resorts Diamonds e fica afastado da cidade. Para quem está de carro, 10 minutos. para aqueles que estão viajando de trem ou onibus, fica mais complicado o acesso. Ficamos no apartamento de 2 quartos, que possui 2 andares. É como um sobrado, com um mini quintal. Apartamento é super confortável e possui estacionamento em frente. "The gym was exceptional for a spa hotel and the breakfast was very pleasant however we did find that the hotel itself was quite dated and the rooms were in need of a bit of updating. The bathroom especially could use some modernization."

"Nice homely atmosphere. Clean, comfortable and Breakfast freshly cooked and served in pleasant surroundings. Come and go if you please and self cater if you want to. Sarah and her Mum are most welcoming and checking in and out was faultless. A great place to stay and would do it again. Plenty of space to park."

"Pros:: Lovely old pub, AC worked well, great location, plenty of parking, big room and bathroom. Bed was hard, but that is personal preference. Old building is beautiful but with it comes low beams, uneven steps, etc. Con's: Breakfast seemed a bit disjointed (only 1 staff member on) kept having to find staff (same with check out) - not a huge issue as pub not that big.
