"A very nice and very new hotel located on a beautiful and lively beach. It has comfortable, clean and spacious rooms. In addition it has a restaurant about 100 meters away which serves a decent breakfast and very tasteful dishes at night. I had the delicious langostinos with the ajillo sauce, but the caribeños sauce which I also tasted was terrific as well. The very friendly and helpful owner Eduardo is a good host and he speaks English almost fluently."

Bob was an excellent resident owner host and the support staff of Maria and Ilariao were perfect and there when we needed help. "It looks pretty from the outside but it’s all superficial. The rooms are typical basic Latam rooms. There were only two outlets in the room and none near the beds. "

"This is not an apartment in Portobelo like the map indicates. It's a house about a mile outside of town and it's a bit rundown. The AC can't keep up with the heat and the entire house has a slight musty smell. I left 2 weeks ago and I still can't get the musty smell out of my CPAP machine.
