Great experience
Friendly family. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Breakfast was a home cooked meal, which they have ready for you at the time you wish.

We had a fantastic one night stay, nice owners, very comfy beds, delicious breakfast, good conversation. Highly recommend a stay here if you’re in town for Knoebels or just passing through!

My family is new to this type of lodging, bnb. Usually pay high price rates at local hotels for our stay and being treated like a number. Not here! Frank and Diana welcomed us into their home like we were family. Nice rooms with cold a/c and a country setting is what you get here. Home cooked breakfast and nice conversation every morning was a terrific start to your day! I can't rate this place any higher! We loved it! THANK YOU FOLKS! See you next trip!

Owners are so very accommadating. . Our room was nice and clean and the bed was very comfortable. I should mention the fabulous breakfast. The owners had us choose from a menu the evening before and also asked what time we would want to come down from our room for breakfast.

The B& B had easy access from the highway to the driveway parking. The house had that old world charm and Frank and Diana were the perfect hosts. Made us feel at home, great conversation, excellent breakfasts. We will be making Fish and Loaves our spot when we are in the vicinity. Thanks again guys for a splendid time. Chalie and Evie

If you are looking for 5 star hotel experience, this place isn't for you. If you want to stay at palace that feels like visiting some long lost (didn't even know you have) family's country home. Then this is your place! Diane and Frank will go out of their way to make sure your stay is a great one. The old house is very well kept inside and out, the rooms are cozy and surprisingly quiet. Had a family of 5 staying across the hall, and if it wasn't for their car in the large parking lot, my wife n I would have never known. The home is located in a very rural area, it backs up to a pine tree nursery, so you'll have crisp, clean, pine scented mountain air the entire time to enhance the view of rolling mountains in the distance with forest that seem to go on forever! Every view from every angle is breathe taking! And now the breakfast. Honestly I could write a review on the breakfast alone! Most of the items are handmade from scratch using farm fresh (as in just picked up from a farm that morning, not just a saying on the box) items. And can you taste the difference! Lastly, you can't write about Fish&Loaves without mentioning the unofficial, Internet famous mascot of the B&B, Foxy. Foxy is the sweetest, softest, friendliest, pup we've ever met (hopefully our pups won't read this!). Foxy will be their to greet you and to say good bye. She'll also be there to ask if you're gonna eat that toast. 5 star lodging and service! 10 out of 10 will definitely go again.

Quick stay for Knoebels
We we attending a coaster wedding and event at Knoebels Amusement Resort. Everyone in our party was staying at a motel about 18 miles away but I found this wonderful bed & breakfast much closer & the best thing I did. We enjoyed the location Breakfast was outstanding. We were given a menu to pick from & decide what time we wanted to eat. Treated so amazing. Nothing you could need or want. Everything is covered. Even a cute chocolate mint on your pillow. Adorable. Anytime I visit from Colorado again, I am staying here. I had a fantastic stay. Loved it!!!!

Innkeepers, Diana & Frank are friendly and enjoyable. Foxy Lady is a lovable dog. The history of the Inn is amazing. They are very accommodating to make your stay comfortable. Best breakfasts ever!

It’s a nice little bed and breakfast and the owners are very nice people! The beds definitely need updates though because for a person who never has back issues…ouch. I think it’s a good thing that we didn’t stay more than two nights because my back was not liking it at all. I thought it was a nice touch that they had you select from a little breakfast menu the day before, so that they knew what you would like ahead of time. The area for kids to play with puzzles, play board games or read was also a nice feature because it definitely intrigued my 3 yr old little girl.

B&B with the Comforts of Home
Wonderful B&B near Knoebels Amusement park. Stayed for 2 nights in the large suite (with a kitchen) with my family of 6. Frank and Diana (and Foxy their super friendly dog) are wonderful hosts who offer every effort to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Breakfast was delicious (loved the crispy bacon!) and customized for our special needs son. We will definitely visit The Fish & Loaves again on our next PA trip.

Pleasant weekend family stay
Very nice accommodations! Very friendly owners who even gave us vegetables from their garden when we left!! Definitely would stay again when visiting Knoebels amusement park (we’re not camping people)!!

A lovely experience
A large, old home with lots of charm. The bathroom fixtures were stained with age but useable. The hosts were very friendly and cooked a magnificent breakfast for us. A very lovely experience and just perfect for our needs. The central PA landscape is magnificent as well.

This B&B is perfect for traveling with children. I traveled with my grandchildren. They felt right at home and had fun exploring the house and playing with the pet dog & cat. We had the Mountain View Room which had 4 beds, living area and a kitchen. We all enjoyed the family style breakfast where we met with other traveling families. Conversing with other adults and the owners added to the experience. The property is about 10 minutes from Knoebles which gave children time to gear up and then slow down from the amusement park experience. Would go back.

We stayed the weekend to go to Knoebel's. The owners were great, made a good breakfast that came with enjoyable conversation. Our granddaughter loved the dog and cats. Our room had the private bathroom which was nice.

Comfortable and accommodating
The hosts were delightful and the check-in was seamless. Breakfast both days was outstanding--we highly recommend the Eggs and Pierogis and the homemade pancakes. Also, the kielbasa was delicious and the owner took great care to accommodate our request for crispy bacon--it was perfectly prepared. The owners' pets (a dog and a cat) are friendly but ever present so anyone who is not a pet lover (or allergic) should take note. Our room was extremely private and comfortable.

This was home away from home but it took us back in time. The house has all of the charm and comfort you would hope for in a bed and breakfast. Our room was spacious with a private bath and the bed was super cozy! Frank and Diana were such gracious hosts and the conversation made us lose track of time. Such a lovely couple! Frank prepared a delicious breakfast! If you want to arrive feeling welcomed and leave feeling like family, this is the place for you!

Stay was very pleasant from the first e-mail we received welcoming us on the day before. We were able to exchange messages getting exact directions and a timed arrival. The hosts are efficient and very friendly.

Very nice people
Great people. Obviously Christian by the name Loaves & Fishes, but a non-christian would be treated just as well. Very clean, not fancy, fits into the area very well. Not nosy, or prying, but will gladly have a conversation if you invite them in to one. Again very nice people.

Great stay at Fish and Loaves
We had a great time staying at Fish and Loaves. Diane and Frank were so wonderful to talk to and made a fantastic breakfast. It is an older building but it was very comfortable. We were in the Landscape room and had a private bathroom and separate entrance.
