A Slice of Paradise by the Sea ā€“ Highly Recommended! Ted and Rose have created something truly special with this beachfront homeā€”itā€™s absolute paradise. From the moment you arrive, youā€™re greeted with sweeping ocean views, thoughtful amenities, and a peaceful, relaxing vibe.The home is incredibly spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated with a serene beach theme that instantly puts you at ease. The second-floor patio overlooking the ocean is a dreamā€”perfect for enjoying a morning coffee or sunset glass of wine. And speaking of wine, Ted and Rose went above and beyond with their thoughtful welcome gift: a bottle of wine and chocolates that made us feel truly cared for. Youā€™re literally less than a minuteā€™s walk from the beach. Each morning, we strolled the shore collecting intact sand dollars and watching sea lions play in the surf. The wildlife in the area is incredibleā€”sea birds and seals. The fully stocked kitchen had everything we neededā€”plenty of dishes, coffee, condiments, and more. Thereā€™s also a cozy fireplace, and on the partially sunny days during our stay, we enjoyed sitting by the window and watching the waves roll in. At night, we slept with the windows open, lulled to sleep by the sound of crashing waves. Our family is already making plans to return. Whether you're looking for a romantic escape, a peaceful retreat, or a family getaway, this place is an absolute gem. A Second Great Stay

Just perfect

Ted was responsive and accommodating.The beautiful place was just as it was described.We were 7 old friends that will get together every year and enjoy eating drinking playing card game and reminisce about younger days.So the back seating area and the front deck and short walk to the beach checked all the boxes.I will go back to Tedā€™s place with my own family in the near future.

A Gem in paradise!

Beautiful home, location and so many wonderful amenities provided by Ted and Rose!! Just a short drive to neighboring Moss Landing, Monterey and Carmel. The home is nestled away in a tranquil location. We had a generational family VAC and none of us wanted to leave! This property was all it claimed to be and more

We walked in and right from the start, the view was tremendous, bright, blue skies, waves galore, Sand to play on and have treasure hunts, beds were comfortable and warm, and food was exceptional using the best kitchen and equipment ever. We spent a day at Monterey Aquarium and after dinner we watched the octupus wildlife movie - so interesting, even the young kids liked it on such a big screen TV. It is a fine netflicks movie. It helped for us to see the huge Octupus coming towards us to check us out at the Acquarium. That was an adventure as well. Our weather couldn't have been more perfect with the blue sky, white clouds and a touch of warmth, typical of January weather. We hope that there are many trips in our future. Thank you very much for sharing your house.

Beautiful and relaxing

A great after Christmas family getaway! Loved the remote location for peace and tranquility. The house was well stocked for cooking, comfy beds, kitchen table was a big gathering place for games/cards great grill, and the view of the ocean was amazing. Will come back!

Forever Family Memories

The trip was for my 89 year old Father who is fighting Cancer and wanted to stay on the Beach so he could hear and see the Ocean and this home did not disappoint ! From the moment he walked in and enjoyed the view from the floor to ceiling windows in the comfortable chairs placed right there . He was to take advantage of the chairs outside and enjoy the view of his own private secluded part the beach and enjoy the serenity with his wife. Then took a whale watching cruise and was able to go to the Aquarium which are in close proximity to the property. Thanks Ted & Rose for sharing your wonderful home ! Sincerely Jackie

A Slice of Heaven

Magical Beach Home

We had the most wonderful stay! Rose and Tedā€™s home was more than perfect for our annual mom-kid vacation. We enjoyed cooking breakfast, lunch and dinner in the well-stocked kitchen and had room for all of us to enjoy our meals together and play games! Kids enjoyed playing basketball and we loved our quick walks to the beautiful and serene beach! We had an easy drive to all our favorite places like Big Sur and Point Lobos. Waking up to the ocean views and the sounds of the waves was simply magical! Thank you to Rose and Ted for sharing your home with us! We didnā€™t want to leave and canā€™t wait to come back!

What a Gem!

We couldnā€™t have found a better place to stay. Three generations of our family staid for five days very comfortably. The view and beach access is amazing. We took full advantage of the private courtyard. All of the rooms are good sized and well appointed. The kitchen has everything, including a fully-stocked spice pantry. We hope to make this an annual event and are very grateful to Ted and Rose for opening their home to us.

Fun place for our family

The house size and bedrooms was just right for our family of 9. Our kids and grands all surf, so being close to the beach was perfect. We hiked at Elkhorn Slough, played volleyball, sat in the hot tub and played and lounged on the beach. The kitchen was fully stocked with pots, pans and dishes. We ate most meals in the condo. I would recommend providing beach chairs for guests. Our three generations enjoyed this vacation!

This was an outstanding stay. We had the time of our life. Canā€™t wait to go back. Great communication with Ted and his wife. I would recommend this property to everyone. Accommodating home in pristine setting

Upon our arrival at your townhome, we felt the presence of nature surrounding you, from the lush plant life to the sound of the Pacific seemingly at your doorstep. The passageway to the ocean became a favorite for all, particularly the toddlers who laughed with glee as they frequently escaped the confines of parents and house to head towards the beach. Watching them stop to explore the various plant life unique to this area of the country was a pleasure for all. The house came well stocked with kitchen needs from olive oils, spices to aluminum foil to minimize the need for frequent visits to the grocery. Bedrooms were spacious and allowed for us to house the 9 family members with comfort. It was a fabulous oasis for us to get reacquainted with family after 4 years of separation and would highly recommend this beautiful vacation spot. We welcome opportunity to visit again soon.

Beautiful, fully equipped home

The location was gorgeous, quiet and surrounded by nature. My husband and our 3 adult kids and partners plus a 2 year old enjoyed our stay at your beautiful home on the dunes overlooking the beach. Weā€™ve never seen such a well equipped kitchen with every tool or gadget you could ever need. The furniture was so comfortable and nicely arranged in the shared space. The questions we had were answered promptly and the welcome bottle of wine and chocolates were a nice touch to a very pleasant time.

Phenomenal property

This was our second time staying at Ted and Rose's amazing ocean-front property. It's a little piece of paradise and our extended family that we brought along felt the same way. Seeing the ocean from almost every room is blissful and the house is really well laid out and stocked. One of the best VRBO properties we've ever stayed at. And, Ted and Rose are fantastic, thoughtful and responsive hosts. 5-stars all around!

Peaceful Paradise!

Our hearts are full after the perfect Thanksgiving family reunion at Ted and Roseā€™s seaside beach house. The hosts show so much pride of ownership and care for their guests. Communication from start to finish was quick, detailed, and caring. The home is stocked with EVERYTHING you could possibly need. Just pack your clothes! The beds are comfortable, the bathrooms, kitchen and decor modern and tranquil, and the beach is a hidden gem - you wonā€™t want word to get out about how peaceful and relaxing and perfect your stay will be!
