The owner is going to think my bad rating is because there was a mix-up and it had not been cleaned before we got there, but I actually added a star because he handled the situation promptly and it was truly a misunderstanding. "Pros: view Cons: 1. The refrigerator in the room kept making low frequency noise over entire night; 2. No AC, room and mattress was hot even after 11pm; 3. An RV is right in front of the room window, partially blocked views what it is listed"

"Family of 5 here. This house definitely met our expectations. It was nice that the house provided some beach toys so it was less we had to worry about packing. The rooms worked out well for all of us and the upstairs is great for cooking and taking in the beautiful view. Short walk to the beach (about 5 minutes) and it was nice to be able to grill. The only thing missing for outside patio area would be a little table to be able to eat out there. Otherwise, great spot!"

"What a fabulous place to stay! The proximity to Carmel and Monterey was excellent. There is also a Target and Costco very close for supplies. The house is in a safe neighborhood that is quiet and easy to access. We would absolutely stay here again if we are in the area."
