"Lake House is a beautiful property in an idyllic location. Close enough to the village for essentials but beautiful and quiet. The kids had a great time in the gardens as did our family dog. "We spent one week in Ballinskelligs and had a great time there. The house is very spacious and comfortable and is equipped with everything you need. Checking in was easy, too. There is a lot to visit - Kerry Cliffs, castles, ring forts and Skellig Michael, of course this is quite expensive. House and surroundings are quiet and peaceful, but there are several supermarkets in Cahersiveen and a small but well-equipped shop only a few minutes away. A clear recommendation from us - and...

"Our family of 17 celebrated a special birthday at this wonderful home. Even though it was large enough to accommodate all of us, it was a warm and comfortable place for all of us. It was within walking distance to many restaurants, pubs, grocery stores and golf course. Patrick and Victoria were always within a phone call or email if we needed them. I would highly recommend the Shelburne Lodge and if I could I would rate it 5 1/2 stars."
