"Very close to the train station , amazing value , walls are thin and single glazing man’s a bit noisy but the price made up for that as well as the very good staff "

"Gorgeous property, incredible old building and lovely grounds - the bar leads out to a garden where we enjoyed beers and great food, and the kids played hide n seek amongst the impressive topiary. Pool/ steam room etc was lovely and not too busy - heads up that if you have kids, even biggish ones, there are kid-free pool hours (from 5 I think) so if you arrive later in the evening you may not get them in. "I was not able to stay in this place, they had not sent me the code to access by the check in time. As such I had to pay for alternative accommodation. Do not stay here. Hotels.com should remove this place. They gave a number to call but the phone was off. "

"Unfortunately the apartment wasn’t not suitable for us to stay when we arrived.The building is rundown with flickering lights and a strong smell of weed. Although the flat was cleaner and more presentable the smell of cannabis came through the vents as these were broken, including the extractor in the bathroom. There were also flickering lights in the bathroom and one of the sliding windows in the living room had a gap and doesn’t close properly, letting the cold in. The owner was responsive...

"Room was clean but very dated however for what we paid we can't really complain. Parking is free in onsite car park you just need to enter registration number at reception. We meet family for a meal, menu typical pub food but all perfectly acceptable and staff very pleasant. Walled outside seating area which was nice for having a drink as weather was warm. The hotel is on the high street so be aware that you will experience some traffic noise especially if your room is at the front. "
