"This place was cozy and relaxing- just what we were looking for! It was close to a dollar general and a cute coffee shop. "

They do send you very detailed directions, but if you are wholly unfamiliar with the area, it can be a little unsettling to be on winding roads outside of civilization with no cell service. "Such a magical experience! Me and my husband stayed here to see the stars. The last night we were here, the sky cleared up and we experienced such a beautiful sky. We sat in the hot tub and just enjoyed the nature around us and gorgeous sky above us. Aside from that, the surrounding sites and adventures were fun too! We climbed the old Sounding Knob Fire Tower, ate at the Curly Maple, road the train at the Cass Scenic Railroad, and went to the Green Bank Observatory. It was such a great trip,...

"Austin was a fantastic host - responsive, helpful, and easy to communicate with throughout the entire process. The videos of the property were super helpful and accurately reflected the space. Our group absolutely loved this unit - it was perfect for our weekend getaway to the 4848 Festival. By far, this has been our favorite place to stay at Snowshoe. Highly recommend!"

"We enjoyed our time at the Bears Den. We were looking to escape and relax and that was easily done here. A few notes: we were short on the number of bath towels initially but found the extra bath towels in the dryer. Unfortunately they had sat wet in the dryer and were musty-requiring washing before being used.The kitchen was well stocked with cooking items for the most part but there were no pot holders which would have come in handy with the countertop oven—there was only one dish towel. "The Cozy Cabin is the perfect name for it. It is a very cute cozy little cabin. Its location is very convenient. We went to Cass, Snowshoe, and a few other local places. Had pizza from The Kickin Chicken and it was delicious. Dennis-the host is fantastic. He’s very fast with responses to messages or questions. Checking in was very easy. I used Apple Maps and the directions took me right to the house. We even met the cleaning lady and she’s just the sweetest. I’m very happy with our booking. "

"Nice clean cabin. Great location for riding the Greenbrier Trail…only a couple of minutes to the trail on bikes. Easy checkin/checkout. The snacks, water, and chilled beer mugs were a treat. Cute table and chairs on the porch for outdoor dining. Enjoyed sitting by the fire pit as well. Enjoyed our stay!"

"The cabin is amazing! Had a fire going the whole weekend and went in the hot tub every night. Only problem was parking can be sketchy. The driveway is steep/angled and was fully iced over during our stay. Still totally worth it."
