Recently renovated and beautifully designed, this cozy cottage blends rustic charm with modern elegance. Located in the wooded Lancewood neighborhood—just a scenic one-mile walk from downtown Cashiers—you’ll find yourself close to restaurants, shopping, and even a full-size Ingles grocery store, all while enjoying the serenity of mountain living.
Every detail of Tiny Trail Cottage was thoughtfully designed to ensure you feel welcomed and considered from the moment you arrive. The home is filled with natural light and furnished with all-designer décor. Original hardwood floors and ceilings, new oversized windows, and a charming breakfast nook with repurposed antique windows reflect the warmth and character of the home.
The open-concept living space features:
A fully renovated, well-stocked kitchen with stainless steel appliances
Free Wi-Fi and satellite TV (including Netflix) on a 60" flat-screen
A built-in wine rack, plush tufted sofa, leather recliners, and a gas fireplace
The bedrooms include:
One queen bed and two twin beds with plush mattresses, new linens, and large closets

Our neighborhood sits on historic land once traveled by Cherokee tribes and later developed by T.S. and Maude Lance in the 1930s. The cottage was very convenient to downtown Cashiers but felt like you were in a lakeside vacation community. The pet area was a great idea. Property was planted with hostas and old growth rhododendron. It was convenient to restaurants and shopping but was so enticing I wanted to stay seated in the rocking chairs on the back deck! Visit Highlands too while you are there.

The cabin was perfect for my wife and me! We brought our dog, Sasha loved the large backyard. The cabin was furnished perfectly and the fireplace was great for cool mornings.

This place and the owners are fantastic! It is such a well decorated place. There are a few breweries and dining options nearby- plus the cutest Cashiers market which is a must! It’s the perfect retreat! I would definitely recommend

We loved staying at Tiny Trail Cottage! My husband and I rented our own home for the Masters week in Augusta, GA and this was the perfect escape. Pam was excellent to communicate with. The location was perfect; we were able to walk into Cashiers to explore and quickly drive to other nearby towns. The home was charming and had everything we needed. The back porch offered great views and a quaint setting for morning coffee or an afternoon glass of wine. We enjoyed using the fireplace in the morning and evenings. We can't wait for our next trip back!

We had a great time in Cashiers! The cottage was perfect and such a great location to town! We enjoyed hiking at Whiteside Mountain and Rainbow Falls! Pam was a wonderful host and was always quick to respond to any questions! We definitely hope to return to Cashiers and this beautiful cottage!

The house and the yard were even more beautiful in person than in the pictures. The location is perfect. It’s tucked away in gorgeous woods but 1/2 a mile to downtown Cashiers. I walked into town every day. It’s also centrally located to a lot of good hikes with beautiful waterfalls. I highly recommend staying here.

We absolutely loved our stay here! The location to downtown Cashiers was our initial draw (a 10 minute walk, as promised), but it ended up being the back porch we fell in love with. It rained the entire length of our stay, but we spent hours on the porch watching the rain and working on our laptops or reading. The landscaping is beautiful! The house itself was charming and perfect for us; it was exactly as it was described... maybe better. Pam was an attentive hostesss and made sure we'd arrived safely and had everything we needed. We will stay here again, for sure.

We had a wonderful six-day stay at the lovely Tiny Trail Cottage! The house was spotlessly clean, beautifully furnished, and generously equipped. It was apparent that Pam was extremely thoughtful as she anticipated and provided supplies to meet the needs of her guests. We absolutely loved the location of the cottage! Whenever we weren't out hiking, visiting waterfalls, shopping, or eating out at restaurants, we enjoyed relaxing on the back porch, soaking in the beautiful view. This was also a great location for our dog. We enjoyed walking her around the neighborhood, and we appreciated the designated "potty area" on the side of the house. The motion-activated outdoor lights were very helpful at night, along with the flashlights that Pam provided. My husband and I have stayed in three other rental properties during previous visits to the Cashiers/Highlands area, and we agree that Tiny Trail Cottage is, by far, the best! We look forward to returning next year!

Cashiers has always been a special place to us, so it was such a treat to bring our kids to join in the fun. The location of Tiny Trail Cottage was perfect- so close to the town center of Cashiers while simultaneously tucked away in the quietest mountain neighborhood. The outdoor space was amazing. Our kids absolutely loved the backyard and enjoyed playing, watching the ducks, spotting bunnies, and roasting marshmallows over the fire! The cottage was very clean and quaint with comfortable furnishings and lots of windows to let the outdoors in. Pam was super quick to respond to any questions we had during our stay, and the check in and check out process was seamless. We look forward to our next visit to Tiny Trail Cottage!
