"This was a good experience! We were welcomed by the owners son, who made us feel very welcome and made us 2 fresh cappuccinos on arrival. The view of the landscape from this location was breathtaking. The room was very pretty with exposed brickwork and arches. The amenities in the room were very much appreciated and useful - washing machine, a rack to dry clothing, hairdryer, TV, tea a coffee etc. The olive shower gel and hand wash smelt amazing! "We had a great stay in Casciana Terme! The hotel is gorgeous, with beautiful gardens and a lovely pool. The staff could not be more helpful, and the morning espressos absolute perfection. The hotel is right by the town square, where there are bars and cafes. The thermal spa is very enjoyable, all in all a quiet and delightful weekend away. "

"Clearly an hotel from a past era - charming with obvious tones of earlier grandeur - now long gone! Staff were courteous and helpful, but don't expect them to speak English - they can't! The room was basic but clean. Bed linen was changed regularly, the whole room was typically Tuscan, with wooden shutters at the window to keep out the sun (no air conditioning or anything as modern as that!). The bathroom was large and clean, with plumbing that took some getting used to, but was more than...
