"This place is in such an ideal setting. Everything is as advertised. Private hot spring included in the rental was awesome and private. Host was very helpful as well. Highly recommend"

"The Hilltop House is a special place. The views from the house in winter are magical. Watching the various shades of pink come in over the bay to the East while sipping coffee was a daily highlight. Sitting in our own geothermal hot tub while watching the Northern Lights dance is something our boys will never forget. The host is very responsive. Having the Hvammsvik springs a few hundred meters away was awesome, we visited those springs twice and stopped by the restaurant each night for a drink....

"Das Haus ist wirklich sehr schön: geschmackvoll, komfortabel und mit herrlichem Blick auf den See, den wir jeden Tag aufs Neue genossen haben. Mitten im Golden Circle gelegen, kann man von hier aus viel erkunden. Der Vermieter ist sehr freundlich, sympathisch und hilfsbereit. Es war eine tolle Zeit, wir haben uns rundherum sehr wohl gefühlt! Wir kommen bestimmt wieder."

"Perfect location for our first trip to Iceland for our exploration of Southern Iceland. Honestly cannot think of a thing that we needed that wasn't provided. If I had a wish list, it would have been nice to have an extra bathroom but we made it work just fine. I would highly recommend."

"Our stay at the Lake Palace was wonderful. The home is beautifully situated, spacious, and well equipped. The host was very accommodating and provided a crib and high chair for us to use for our little one. Soaking in the hot tub with a view of the mountains was an incredible way to unwind after a day of hiking. We highly recommend staying here!"

"This place was simply amazing! There was a very small issue with our booking and instead of staying in the lake house we were moved to the hilltop house and all I can say is WOW! The property in general is just incredible with 360 degree views. The hot springs were so relaxing. The hilltop house sits on a hill and you can’t get enough of the scenery. The house was stocked with everything we needed to cook dinner (no microwave which was fine) and we had plenty of space with our family of four....

"Nossa estadia no ION ficou abaixo de minhas expectativas, existem 2 estradas para se chegar ao Ion mas uma estava interditada, tivemos que dar uma volta maior. É necessário ter carro alugado para chegar, pois não tem translado. Nossa finalidade era um local distante e aberto para ver aurora Boreal, este hotel fica muito próximo de uma montanha, e o estacionamento fica entre a montanha e a entrada do hotel, tivemos que para este estacionamento para poder ver a Aurora, pensei que ia ver de dentro...
