The check in staff, night staff and day staff were all welcoming, friendly, and I really enjoyed my interactions with them. They also have a very CUTE little library section that you can borrow a book from!! Kids books as well! "

"The lobby is beautiful & check in was welcoming & easy. The little gift shop is well appointed. Room was large. Not necessarily “spotless” though. Beds & bathroom very nice. Breakfast was fine. They forgot a few things but brought them right up when we called. We will definitely stay again & recommend the hotel. "

"The room was very nice. 10/10. However, they did assign me the room across from the ice machine and on the street side which had lots of outdoor lighting. Just a thin roll up blind on the window. "

"Don’t underrate this motel. I enjoy the service and the amenities are enough to do just about whatever you need. Downstairs provide plenty of space for sleeping and AC units in the rooms are perfect for the cold sleepers. Upstairs is spacious and worth the family stay with enough separation to enjoy a few days while yall explore the beach. I’ll keep coming"

"Lovely stay over New Years! Hotel is beautiful as well as spotless! Holiday lights were gorgeous including the ice skating rink which lots of folks were using. Shuttle to Front street is a wonderful bonus. We didn’t anticipate the need for breakfast reservations in the restaurant, however the bar offered first come, first served seating which worked out perfectly! Well done BH!!!"

"The house had an unpleasant odor, the kitchen pots were not very clean, and there were no blankets provided for sleeping, which was inconvenient. If the host could improve the cleanliness of the kitchen, freshen up the house, and ensure blankets are available, it would make the stay much more comfortable."

"If you are not expecting much then this is the place for you. Humid unless the a/c runs at 68 degrees and uncomfortable beds and ratty carpet and old appliances. "
