"Check-in instructions were emailed a few days in advance. The cabin is so cute and cozy. Having 6 of us, it was a little cramped inside, BUT, we spent 90% of our time outdoors anyway. "Lois greeted me and was very welcoming, showed me some of Paul’s woodwork and showed me around the cabin and grounds. It was extremely peaceful and cozy, very close to bigelow and flagstaff, and a nice fire pit out back, cool outdoor kitchen and comfy bed. I was happy and grateful. "

"Our stay at Sunset Cabin was an escape to paradise! The cabin provided everything we needed for our stay. The cabin was very clean and perfect for a romantic getaway. From the gorgeous views of the lake, night time fire pits, and many things to do in Rangeley we did not want to leave! Would definitely recommend and stay again."

"We had a wonderful stay during school vacation week. We planned to ski all week, but weather had other plans and closed all the lifts, so we had a lot of extra time at the house. We lost electricity and they were out within 45 minutes to hook up the generator for us. Owner/Mgmt company was super responsive to any messages sent. "The cabin was centrally located and a great fit for what we needed. We were a group of five and that seemed like a perfect number for the space (although theoretically I think it can sleep ten). If you plan to cook for larger groups you should bring some of your own pots and pans, and paper plates and utensils (the kitchen does have some things, but not enough for cooking for more than 3-4 ppl). Overall a great stay! The fire pit and river views were lovely. "

"Living on Long Island for most of my life, and only really seeing stars once before, 33 years ago, I finally got to REALLY see stars again. We all had an amazing time. So much to see on the property that we hardly scraped what can be seen. I would need a real good ax and a month to get a good scope of the property. There was a nice spot to shoot too. Sucked picking up the brass, but it ain't my property, so we did and we got 98% of it up. Thanks Phil"

"Communication for check in was great. Home was very well equipped. Plenty of dishes and cookware. Our sleeping space was roomy and comfortable. We enjoyed the large and open living area. We also were able to spend time on the spacious deck and use the firepit! We would definitely stay here again and recommend this home to others. "

"House has beautiful views , plenty of beds and everything you need from glasses to pots, pans, etc. all the little touches like digital lights, fans and fireplace make it a great property. At dusk a fifteen minute tide up 17 almost guarantees moose sightings. Kids had a blast in the game room. Master bedroom with couch , loveseat and tv is the perfect parent escape at night . "First time in this awesome camp. We have stayed in Eustis and Rangeley and well all over the country VRBO and this was very nice; and quiet. Even with a very good restaurant right up the hill within 50 feet. Kudos to the builder and also decorator. "Beautiful spot within view of the fork in the river with the gentle sound of moving water. The cabin has everything you need for a relaxed stay including an outdoor grill and fire pit. If you don’t feel like cooking, The Inn if the River is a quick walk just across the street and they serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. We will stay here again when we return to the area. "

"We had a wonderful time in spite of gray skies and rain. The cabin was cozy and we loved hearing the ducks in the morning and the loon in the evening. Even had a family of deer with 2 fawns in the yard eating apples. Being right on the water was great for relaxing and enjoying the quiet which was what I needed! Walked into town in between rain showers, ate a lot of good food and ice cream! Would definitely come back again!"
