This little cottage has weathered a storm, come back better than ever, and is ready to be someone's favourite place on the Carolina coast again.
The front porch sets the tone immediately: four rocking chairs, string lights overhead, peek-a-boo ocean views, and the kind of unhurried morning that reminds you why you took the week off in the first place. The beach is a three-minute stroll. The boardwalk is around the corner. And inside, the electric fireplace, Smart Roku TVs, and well-equipped kitchen make the cottage as comfortable on a rainy evening as it is on a perfect beach day.
Small? Yes. Mighty? Absolutely. The Little Blue Cottage punches well above its weight — and guests who've stayed here will tell you it's the kind of place you come back to every year.

• Up to 2 vehicles on property — please park directly in front of the cottage without blocking the driveway

The legendary Sea-Witch live music 🎶 venue is just around the corner — and on weekend nights, you'll know it. Music carries until midnight, and from the front porch it's actually a pretty good free show. If you're a light sleeper or an early-to-bed traveller, grab some earplugs and lean into the coastal soundtrack. If you're the kind of guest who considers live music a bonus — you're going to love this porch.

Pet Policy:
We love dogs here — up to two fully housebroken dogs are welcome with prior approval. Please message us before booking so we can confirm the cottage is the right fit. A $150 non-refundable pet fee applies and is spread evenly across your nightly rate at checkout. Please clean up after your dogs promptly — the outdoor space should be left as you found it. Dogs must stay off furniture and linens. No other animals please.

Arrival & departure:
Check-in is at 4:00 PM via keyless PIN — your code arrives before you do. Checkout is by 10:00 AM sharp. Due to our cleaning team's schedule, early check-ins and late checkouts aren't available at this property. Please don't park on the premises before check-in or after checkout. Unapproved late departures may incur a $200 fee.

Care of the cottage:
Our team takes great pride in this little gem. Please skip the bleach on anything during your stay — our cleaners handle that between guests. For the stainless steel appliances, stainless-only cleaners please — anything else causes rust and nobody wants that. No incense or essential oil diffusers — scents linger and some guests have sensitivities.

Smoke-free property:
The Little Blue Cottage is 100% smoke-free indoors. Smoking inside will result in a $200 deodorization fee.

Neighbors & noise:
This is a real neighborhood and we love it that way. Please keep noise considerate and low — and stay on the paths, not through the neighbors' yards.

Visitors:
Any additional visitors beyond the booked party must be approved by the host in advance.

Rental agreement:
A short rental agreement is required before check-in. Straightforward, quick, and in place to protect everyone.
