Sea Grace 2, Oceanfront, Pool, & Pet Friendly!

Summary:
Welcome to Sea Grace 2 , this absolutely adorable recently renovated 3 bed/ 2 bath condo overlooking the gorgeous Atlantic Ocean. Be lulled to sleep with the sounds of the waves in a king size master bedroom and wake to the sunrise over the Atlantic on your private front porch! Located to all things Carolina Beach: biking, kayaking, fishing charters, hiking at the CB State Park and our famous boardwalks and fishing piers with great restaurants and shopping. Downtown Wilmington is 45 mins away!

The Space:
This is a 2nd floor unit.
There is no elevator.
The pool is located just behind the condo. The HOA opens the pool mid April and closes typically the second week in September, depending on weather

Guest Access:
Assigned parking, please display parking pass inside condo. you are only allowed one vehicle in this lane. the other has to go in first come first serve spots in the back. you are not guaranteed a second spot. Guest's phone number must be left on pass incase you block another vehicle. There are also some spots by the pool in the back that are first come first serve. We highly recommend seeing if one of those is available when you get there as it is much easier to get in and out of. We are grateful our HOA gives us 2 spots free but unfortunately can do nothing about the parking in tandem. Thank you for understanding.

Other Things to Note:
We also supply the following for each property:
A starter kit of one roll of toilet paper per bathroom, one roll of paper towels, a trash bag, and dish soap. We also supply laundered bed linens, comforters, and 1 bathing towel and wash cloth per person. We do not supply any beach gear or beach towel. We have great rental companies on the island we would be more than happy to share the info with you. We also do not supply laundry detergent, body soap or shampoo/conditioner as we find everyone has their own preferences for these =) Please review our house rules prior to your stay

There is a Beach re-nourishment done in Carolina and Kure beach every 3 years. This helps to keep our beaches safe from erosion. Please note that we have no control over this project and that it is normally concluded by May, but there is a possibility of delays.

Weekend Stay

The condo was extremely dirty and not in great shape when we arrived. Floors were grimy, air vent was thick with dust. Washer and dryer were coated in sand and the dryer filter was broken. There was rust on interior hinges, bath shower door and outside of fridge. The laminate was peeling off kitchen countertops. The second bath door would sometimes get stuck. The twin beds were very uncomfortable and the king bed seemed to just be foam that sunk in. Outdoor table was rusted and peeling. Wood at porch door sills was rotting. Parking was very difficult but mostly b/c other tenants were not following the rules and blocking the tandem parking. Check-in and check out were easy.

Booking online was easy! Information needs to be updated on rental. Only 1 park spot for this rental. The rental E2 had a strong fish smell when we arrived! The curtains in front bedroom not clean and one curtain hung backwards. Dryer vent totally broken No way to filter lent. Kitchen utensils (forks) need to be increased.

No Frills but just what was needed.

The location and proximity to the beach was wonderful. The place is not billed as a 5 start hotel so we had the proper expectations. The listing was as described. However, the place could use some updating and the 250 fee for cleaning seems a bit outlandish given the state of the place when we arrived. The place was clean but the mirrors were smudged and smeared and required cleaning, the bathroom vanities and other tables has ring marks from previous glasses and the floors needed vacuumed or mopped. We needed to re-wash all dishes prior to use. The freezer was in shambles with ice and ice packs previously left. There is lots of rust on the exterior balcony and indoor appliances that need attentions. There were clean towels and bed linens.

This was not a 9-10 rated property. Very disappointed with this property a 7 at the most. Had a bucket of sludge under garbage disposal. Huge cockroach at front door on entrance curtains in master bedroom looked liked they had been scorched at the bottoms dish towels were dingy. I had to go buy bleach so I could sanitize our dishes and bought new dish towels. Outdoor area was less than clean. Kids twin beds were very uncomfortable. My last trip with VRBO just think they should know more about what they rent out.

Cute place, great location

Overall perfect for what we wanted and in good location. Parking is stressful. You must be available to move your car at all times and you could easily get blocked in. Need to really comment on this in the booking. No Keurig,no ice maker or toaster..really no extras at all. A few scuffs on wall and hole in bathroom door but overall clean and more spacious than I thought.

Wonderful place to relax

Perfect get away to relax and enjoy the ocean! The condo was as advertised. We didnt cook while we were there but the appliances looked clean and operable. It was nice to be in walking distance of the boardwalk and restaurants.

Great Location

Easy access to the boardwalk and restaurants. The tandem parking can be a little inconvenient but with everything so close we didn’t use our car very much anyway. Great view from the covered deck.

Comfortable condo, great location

Condo is in a great location with an awesome view of the ocean and a short walk to the beach, boardwalk, shops, and restaurants. Furnishings are sparse but comfortable. The pool was a little suspicious looking. Parking was ok for us because we didn’t get blocked in but I can see where it could be a hassle as mentioned in other reviews.

Weekend getaway

We booked this property for Mother’s Day. Condo was clean and comfortable with a great location and easy access to beach. Kitchen was stocked so we could easily make meals when needed. All rooms had balconies, which is nice, the master with views of the ocean and other two bedrooms street view. The parking is limited but extra first come spots available if needed. When parked three deep and in the middle - having to call neighbors to move vehicles and their numbers not listed on packing pass becomes an issue. All linens and towels were provided, but extras would have been great. Beds comfy except twin size - those weren’t great. All in all - great trip with family and host we’re very helpful and quick to reapond.

Wintertime beach break

I really enjoyed my stay at SeaGrace. Very nicely appointed and very comfortable. Great view from the covered patio. Beach access was easy as was parking. I work remotely and the wifi was fast and stable - that was a big plus for me. This is also located in a great location and is close to restaurants, bars, and the boardwalk. I would absolutely stay here again.

Great vacation condo

Everything was very nice and clean. Location is great. The only downside is the parking situation but thankfully we were able to walk most places and didn’t have to move the car much. It was a great place for our family vacation!

Great location, simple improvements needed

First off the location to the beach, pool and downtown were fantastic. We walked about everywhere we went, especially after seeing the parking situation. Basically You share three spots with three other units in a galley style parking space meaning if all three people are there someone’s gonna be blocked in. I was not aware of this as I may have looked for another location. Here is a list of minor things that could easily be taken care of. - add dressers, a bench or luggage rack in the bedrooms. We had to keep our suitcases on the floor and open to have clothing storage. - keep hangers in the closet - remove the full size bed you have in the closet of the double twin room. This closet could not be used for any type of storage. - fix the towel rack in the master bath. There was one bracket remaining on the wall. - kitchen accessories and coffee maker could use updating. The burner on the coffee maker was rusted and scared me a bit. Dishes are Hodgepodge and some have etching which makes you feel like they’re not clean. Again, the location was fantastic. Aside from the parking, this location could make some fairly easy upgrades to really elevate this rental.

Stairs

To many stairs to get to 2nd floor for a 81 year old woman. If we had been told about the stairs would not have stayed there. The web site for this property is not very good with details.
