"The location of the hotel is really good two minutes to the main road where everything is . Staff were very friendly and helpful, rooms were really nice and had everything you needed including breakfast foods and drinks and even an ironing board. Will definitely be going back x."

"Amazing place to stay. First time staying in a B&B having favoured hotel stays in the past and what a nice change in made. From the warm and friendly welcome and throughout the 3 day stay everything met or exceeded our expectations. The room (Burley) at the top of the house was amazing with a roll top bath in the room, the most comfortable of bed and just the ambiance of the house made the experience even better. Breakfast was lovely and the hosts were super friendly too."

"Beautiful property out of the bustle of nearby Ambleside or Hawkshead. Lovingly cared for and staffed. Gorgeous views, delicious breakfast and dinner, and a hot shower. Hikes out the door. 5 minute walk to Beatrix Potter's home at Hill Top. We hope to return."

"Location was perfect right in the centre of historic Hawkshead ask about car parking at the primary school. On Suite was very small, the vanity didn’t drain properly, the sensor light is a pain when you don’t want to wake-up your partner at night! A common problem with all accommodation in the Uk is that only having a Duvet on the bed to hot to use and worst no top sheet, Duvets are to hot in winter because of the heating and to hot in summer with no air conditioning and with no ventilation...

"We had 2 very good nights sleep. The room was clean and comfortable. Funny was the mirror in the bathroom was fitted well high up, you can not see yourself if you are about 5 ft tall. The shower screen was a bit narrow for the long shower tray, the floor got very wet when having shower."
