Tranquil Retreat is BACK after TOTAL remodel

Summary:
Tranquil offers indoor comfort and heated outdoor living with plenty of space to relax. Enjoy a covered patio with outdoor kitchen, bar seating for 10, conversation area, gas firepit, and a large putting green. Inside, the fully renovated home features a chef’s kitchen with high-end appliances, huge fridge/freezer, ice machine, wine fridge, and bar area. Half bath off living room for guests. Includes 3-car garage and EV charger.

The Space:
This house was my private residence in Carmel. The kitchen and baths have been completed remodeled. Kitchen has original cabinets but all appliances are new as is the counter. LR and DR have quintessential Carmel ceiling with hardwood floors and hand thrown tiles in entry. Fireplace in LR is wood burning and room is very large enough for two families. Bedrooms are in a separate area of house, so if you are entertaining, noise is minimized.

All areas of home with exception of owners closet in garage are accessible

The Neighborhood:
The neighborhood is typically full time residences. Please be aware that quiet time is from 9 PM to 8 AM.

Getting Around:
Easy location to access carmel valley (entrance about 2.5 mi) or downtown carmel (2 min car ride or about 10-15 min walk to downtown.

Interaction with Guests:
I live remotely. You will get a key code to enter home. Most times it will be last 4 numbers of phone listed on your profile

This was the perfect place to stay in Carmel! The house is all newly renovated and amazing. There’s an amazing outdoor space with heaters and a fire pit, as well as the putting green. The kitchen is fully stocked and has amazing appliances. The 4 bedrooms were great, very comfortable beds with nice bathrooms. The master bathroom even had heated floors! Host was very responsive and let us use electric car charger on site, which was so helpful. Check in and check out we’re super easy, no complicated process. Overall a great place for a friends weekend, would 100% come back again! Can’t recommend enough!

Great Property

We rented this home as an overflow for a few couples as we also rented a larger estate house in the neighborhood. It was perfect and nicely appointed. Easy 15 min walk to town and very secluded!

Family get away

We really enjoyed staying at Penny’s house for a family trip to Carmel. The house looks just as advertised with updates throughout the entire house. The 3 bedrooms are quite spacious and the house was very clean when we arrived. The kitchen is well equipped and we were able to cook most of our meals while staying there. The fenced backyard was wonderful. We were traveling with our 2 dogs who really enjoyed the large space to play in. The flowers are beautiful. We enjoyed sitting on the back deck in the mornings eating breakfast under the umbrella.

Wedding weekend

We stayed here for our wedding weekend as we were coming from out of town. The house is stunning! The owner was so quick to respond when we needed help, the location is very central so easy to get around town, loved that we were able to bring our fur babies with us for the weekend as well.

Great for family and dogs

The large fenced-in yard made it so easy and safe to let the dogs out before heading off on walks or to the beach. The large living room was great for all 6 of us to hang out, eat, or play games. During the unprecedented rains of the previous weeks, the sump pump running constantly at night was noisy for sleeping.

Great clean home in quiet neighborhood

Really enjoyed the home and the quiet neighborhood. Everything was neat and tidy. The home was a perfect size for the four of us. We were able to play some board games and walk to town and the beach. Really wonderful stay.

Spacious and Cozy

My wife and I took our 2 year old son and our in-laws to Carmel for the weekend and the house was perfect for us. It was cozy, quiet and spacious, had all the amenities we needed, was very close to all the restaurants and shops in Carmel + not too far from Monterey .I'd definitely recommend for anyone looking for a nice stay in Carmel or Monterey

Exquisite Large and Modern Home With Plenty of Backyard Space!

Staying in this home was truly so special! There are endless areas to hangout between the living room, dining area, kitchen, a second dining area, barstools, and outdoor space. It's so comfortable, well decorated, and instantly felt like a vacation upon arriving. The only arena I would square away ahead of time is the schedule of the yard maintenance. While my group was outside on the deck, the leaf-blower came. I was not notified ahead of time, so we had to come in until they were done. We were having a BBQ for my mom's birthday the following day thank goodness, so it was no problem. There seemed to be a bit of confusion of the yard schedule, but this is an easy thing to plan for ahead of time once the owners have the updated schedule. If you're wanting to plan a day on the deck in the backyard I would just ask ahead of time to plan accordingly. I would absolutely stay here again, and plan to.

Carmel by the Sea

The property was as described and shown. Rooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable. It felt like home, plenty of towels, good water pressure and hot water. The location was perfect, close to Big Sur, beach, restaurants. We used the gas grill and it worked perfectly. Internet was excellent.

Lovely and quiet dog friendly home

Wonderfully situated just west of highway 1, this home met our needs perfectly. The home is spacious and comfortable for 6 people. There is nice enclosed backyard that our dog enjoyed. The kitchen had everything we needed. Thank you for a great stay!

Perfect Carmel Getaway

We loved our stay! Location is great, house was perfect for our group! Nice yard, outdoor fire pit and bbq, big kitchen and table for games. Loved the fireplace. Amazing showers! Would definitely book again.

All the comforts of home

We were so thrilled with our stay. The home was comfortable, clean and had all we needed. Penny was very responsive and a pleasure to correspond with. The location was perfect: quiet but close to everything! Highly recommend this property.

Good Location

We were very pleased with our stay at Hatton Fields. Pros- The Location of the home is great! We had several issues during our stay and the property manager quickly resolved them. Plenty of space for 5 people to spread out in the home. Cons- I believe the master shower was hooked up wrong. You must turn the handle to C (cold) to get hot water and turn the handle to H (hot) to get cold water. Clearly something wrong. I would take a point off for cleanliness. The owner of the home books people back-to-back and relies on the previous renter to start the laundry and dishwasher vs having the linens professionally cleaned. And the big glass doors and windows had hand prints and smudges all over them. However The rest of the home is very clean. Overall I would give this home 4 out of 5 stars when comparing it to other homes in the area. We would stay again.

Great location , cozy place

Unit is well equipped for 2-3 couples. Property manager was able to allow us to check in before wedding and get settled with work calls. The house is mostly updated, beds are comfortable, and amenities are good. Location is ideal if you need to be in Carmel.
