Spring break
This was a cute little home near Carmel River state beach. It’s located next to an elementary school, but it so quiet we didn’t even notice. I would stay again if in the area.

Great location close to the beach
A nice property close to Carmel River beach and downtown Carmel. Short drives to Pacific Grove and Monterey. Just right for going out or staying in.

Wonderful home
This home had all the amenities needed. Located in a nice quiet neighborhood. Close to the beach and the downtown area. Owners were very responsive to our needs. We will stay here again on our next trip.

Friends Weekend
Upon arrival you will find the home in a great neighborhood. The home is close enough to Carmel to walk to town. Sadly the exterior of the home is lacking. The front yard is not maintained. The backyard is unwelcoming and downright scary in one sense (strange structure on the property, out of service hot tub, overgrown landscaping, no furniture). The interior is great. Upstairs bedroom is wonderful with a comfortable bed. The shower water temperature is inconsistent as previously mentioned. The downstairs bedroom is good, our friends thought the mattress was just ok. The kitchen and living areas were great. If you are looking for decent lodgings, this will work. So long as you ignore the property exterior. (A little yard care and clean up would do wonders).

my review
if you read "Aram T." discription of the place its prety accurate. The master shower was however warm enough for us to use. But it could have been a little warmer water.

Not fully disclosing everything
As you pull into driveway the front yard is very neglected. Very embarrassing coming and going from the house. The backyard is the same and could not even sit outside to enjoy. Lukewarm showers upstairs as well as kitchen water temperature fluctuated. We rented a 2 bath and were forced to share a bathroom. Reached out to homeowner via VRBO and no response as of today. Lights flicker in house, but primarily in master bathroom lights flickered to the point of hurting your eyes. Beds were comfortable, but on last day upon sheet removal found live spider in bed. Saw other spiders in the room as well. No trash bags and no cleaning supplies to sterilize counters and table. Broken and insufficient kitchen utensils. Master bathroom had a dirty washcloth set out as clean. The toilet was not cleaned properly in master bathroom. We have photos to support our disappointments. The location was great.

Great Quick Weekend Stay
We were in the area for a wedding and really enjoyed our stay! The whole home was comfy, great quick walk to beautiful beaches, and very friendly neighborhood. Hope we can return soon!

Convenient to beach
We stayed 3 nights in this property. It was ok, but we wouldn’t stay here again. The front yard was not attractive, there were dirty coffee cups in cabinet, spider webs from the ceiling and nothing on large living room tv but Netflix. It was quiet and the beds comfortable. It was very walkable to Mission Ranch, Carmel Mission and beaches. We didn’t walk to town, because it was a little too far.

Clean, Comfortable
This is a spacious, clean, well located rental. The beds were comfortable, even the sleeper sofa. Because the weather was so great we were wishing for an outdoor seating area, maybe with a fireplace, but none was advertised, so this is no reflection on the listing.

Beautiful quiet get away
We enjoined our stay at the Carmel house. Very spacious house and rooms in a very nice and quiet neighborhood. Loved how we could walk to the beach a couple blocks away.

Great Location in Carmel - near just about everything
The house was perfect for what I was looking for - a brief getaway for me, my adult daughter and adorable toddler grandson. We could walk to the beach, realized that we were close enough to downtown Carmel that we could have actually walked there, 15 minutes from the Monterey Aquarium - and directly across the street from a school that had a perfect little playground for my grandson. From my perspective, the only thing I found lacking was outdoor seating - there was a lovely deck and it would have been nice to have been able to sit outside (although must admit that the weather was pretty foggy when we were there). All in all, a wonderful house for this quick R&R.

Very nice place in Carmel
Just located just a couple of blocks off the beach, in the quiet south end of Carmel, the house has everything you need for a short or a long stay. The furnishings are all very new and in very good condition. Everything was in line with descriptions or better.

Easy
Such an effortless stay- easy to get to house located close to the beach and a nice longer walk into downtown Carmel. Simple instructions for access, all appliances, WiFi and streaming entertainment. House was comfortable and clean. We did not use backyard; however, it did not seem inviting. I recommend the stay!

Great property and excellent beach access!
The house and backyard deck made for an excellent, comfortable place to relax in between trips to Carmel Beach and Carmel River State Beach, both a comfortable walk from the property.

great location in Carmel. Spacious home
Lovely charming area of carmel. Don't expect to do any work via internet or phone calls. Wi-fi and service is poor. Travel a half mile and you will get service. We were there for golf at Pebble Beach. Ideal

The cable was not properly connected to the modem. The internet connection was restored in the time frame requested by the guest.

We loved the location of this home. The beds were all comfortable including the sleeper sofa. The master bedroom is very spacious. The house has plenty of towels, dishes, glasses and utensils. It is stocked with enough toilet tissue, paper towels, detergent for dishes & washing machine along with plenty of trash bags for our 5 day stay. We would stay here again.

My girlfriends and I needed a relaxing mom’s weekend and chose to stay here. The interior was modern and the beds were very comfortable. It was spacious and the products that were provided, such as the body soap, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner and lotion were good quality. There was a t.v. & it had Netflix and some other options which was perfect for our relaxing weekend. It was a great location because we were close enough to the ocean that we could smell the fresh ocean air and we could see it during the day off in the distance. We were only a 10 min walk from the beach & just a few minutes from downtown Carmel! The only drawbacks were when we first arrived, it smelled like stale smoke, or could have just been musty from having been closed up, but after it was aired out, it was fine. The back yard was not kept up which would have been a bummer during the summer and the hot tub was open and looked like a breeding ground for mosquitoes. Other than that, it was awesome and I would DEFINITELY stay here again!

Amazing and spacious house in beautiful Carmel-by-the-sea
This whole house rental was outstanding and a great value for the area and property. Myself and my husband and another couple rented this house for 3 nights and it was perfect...we each had our own bedroom and bathroom, full-size kitchen which we enjoyed using, and dining area to enjoy cards and games. The beds are very comfortable, and the bedrooms spacious. There is a TV, but we didn't use it so cannot speak to that, but the WIFI works fine. We also were very comfortable temperature-wise as there is central heat. The area is gorgeous, just a 10 minute walk to the preserve/beach, and along the way it's not hard to take in the eye-candy of the multi-million dollar homes in the quiet and peaceful neighborhood. Perfect for touring the 17-mile drive, and anything you'd like to do in Monterrey. Although we never met the host, they are hospitable and very responsive to a couple inquiries we had. I would consider staying here again if and when I'm in the area.

Home was nice and comfy inside. Beds were comfortable including the sofa sleeper. Location is great - close to all the shops, restaurants and beach! Outside of the house looks somewhat neglected, but we didn't spend much time there except to sleep so that didn't bother us. Enjoyed our stay!

Immaculate and roomy.
We were very comfortable. Although we didn't cook, the kitchen was well equipped. A chair in the downstairs bedroom would have been nice as well as a table lamp in the living room. We liked being close to the Mission Ranch and overall enjoyed our stay.

Nice remodeled house in a quiet location
We had a great time there, the location is quiet and within walking distance of the Carmel mission and the southern end of Carmel beach. I liked the spacious, sunny backyard deck to relax on.
