Carmel Great Escape by the Sea

The house is located about 1 1/2
miles from Carmel by the sea and the ocean. Maximum guests allowed 6. The house only has streaming - Netflix

The house sleeps 6. The house has two bedrooms and a loft. The house has two full size bathrooms. ****Maximum guest allowed -6 ***** NO PARTIES, NO VAPING, NO SMOKING, NO DRUGS
$1,000 FINE for smoking on the property.
The master bedroom has a king size bed.

The second bedroom has a queen size bed.

The upstairs room is a loft with a king size bed.


The house is perfect for entertaining or for a quite relaxing vacation. The house is about a mile from beautiful Downtown Carmel by the Sea. It is close to Big Sur, point lobos and Golfing at Pebble Beach.

The house has a large front balcony with beautiful Mountain View’s.

The courtyard in the backyard has a gas fire pit, gas grill and a large teak dining table that seats 8 people. The hot tub is perfect for relaxing and enjoying the beautiful Mountain View’s while you are on vacation. The ping pong table is located outside and is perfect for a little competition and fun.

The house has two levels. The upstairs level is listed in the above description. The lower part of the house is a separate unit. The lease description does not include access to the lower portion of the house . The lower portion at times might also be leased. The people who lease the lower portion of the house do not have access to the outdoor areas. (Hot Tub or courtyard or ping pong). There is Netflix and Amazon streaming only. The amenities listed above are only included in your lease.

The house only has parking for two cars with this lease.

The house is about one mile from point lobos. The house is located about five miles to the entrance of Big Sur. The house is about three miles from Pebble Beach.

We didn’t realize that there was a studio unit below what we had rented. Not a problem until they arrived looking for a parking spot. Lock was a bit fickle to use but worked. App kept saying there was an error.

What a gem to enjoy Carmel by the Sea!

We are on a Spring Break road trip from LA to the Redwoods. What a nice place to stay a little longer than a new hotel every night we are doing otherwise. The place is perfection! The house, the host, the town, the area. We look forward to returning.

Very hospital owner and lovely property

The home was lovely. Very comfortable beds. The owner,Laura, was easily reachable and helpful with local information. The mark against the listing may have been VRBO’s fault (listed a gym on premise which was incorrect). We were sad that the fireplace did not work as it was a rainy weekend, but the lovely home and hospitable owner made up for it. Great stay overall.

Great weekend in Carmel

Accommodations were wonderful - two bedrooms and a loft . Kitchen is great and backyard is cozy. Hot tub is a little jaunt up the hill but lovely view!

Lovely home and great location

This property is a gem. We will definitely stay here again if it is available. We thoroughly enjoyed the property. The home has a well equipped kitchen and nice layout. We used only 2 of the 3 bedrooms. We also used and enjoyed the hot tub. The property is located an easy 5 minute drive from the many restaurants and shops in Carmel by the Sea. (Plan ahead and make reservations!) Excellent communication and easy check-in and checkout.

Even Better than the Pictures

This rental property is absolutely stunning. We travelled to Carmel for a girls weekend and booked this house for its proximity to restaurants, the beautiful view, and outdoor space. The house was even better than the pictures. The living room, dining area, and kitchen are very spacious and can easily accommodate a group of 5-6. We also loved the outdoor space, the hot tub, and the well stocked kitchen! They have every appliance you could possibly need, all the way down to a waffle maker. Communication with the host was very easy throughout the trip. I cannot recommend this property enough and hope to book again in the future.

FABULOUS Property

We had a fabulous time at this property! It comfortably sleeps 6 adults and has excessive living space, both indoor and outdoor. The kitchen and finishes in this house were top notch. The hostess was extremely responsive and accommodating when we arrived in town early. It’s located on a very quiet street with only one other home on the hillside that made for INCREDIBLE views off the front patio. It was a great location close to downtown Carmel. We hope to visit again soon!

Beautiful Property

We really enjoyed our stay here. The online description is accurate. The house is tucked away on a very quiet street, so you can enjoy a morning coffee on the front deck or in the courtyard without any traffic noise. The kitchen is well equipped, and there are multiple nice sitting areas. The bedrooms were comfortable. We didn’t need to contact her for anything during the stay, but the host was always very quick to respond with pre-visit questions. Overall, an enjoyable visit.

Private and Fabulous!

We just returned from our stay in Carmel and couldn't be happier with our choice of rentals. First off, Laura was very easy to communicate with during the rental process and during our stay. She responds quickly and graciously! The house was perfect for our group, very comfortable, clean and the perfect location. Lots of dishes, towels, laundry supplies if you need it, etc. Plenty of parking, and I loved the fact that we were on a quiet "private" driveway. The hot tub and backyard was a BIG plus. And we enjoyed our mornings and evenings on the front patio. We will definitely check to see if this home is available on our next trip back to Carmel. Thank you, Laura, for your hospitality and graciousness.

Charming rental

Lovely home near Carmel by the Sea. Very clean and nicely decorated, comfortable yet elegant. Kitchen was well appointed and very clean. Outdoor space with ping pong and hot tub was great with 2 teens. Loved front patio as well for morning coffee or afternoon wine. Highly recommend !

Comfortable, easy and sunny!

We had such a good experience staying at Hatton Fields. The house is really nice and tastefully furnished. We cooked a Thanksgiving feast and the well stocked kitchen was a big help. The outdoor space was lovely for eating outdoors and the sun shines into the living area all day. At night the fireplace is cozy and the beds are all comfortable. We will definitely return. We took walks into town for our exercise. Laura was very helpful, friendly, and responsive. Thanks!

Great vacation

We had a wonderful time at the house, it was very comfortable with great views. Close to Carmel By the Sea and a short drive to nearby hikes. The owner was easy to communicate with and very helpful!

Great House and Host

This house had beautiful mountain views and wonderful amenities, including a jaccuzi atop a hill, a fire pit, and grill/patio space. Communication with the property manager was seamless and Laura was very responsive. We loved our stay!

Beautiful, light filled home

My seven-year-old loved this house so much he wanted us to stay there! I don’t think I have ever ever seen such a well stocked home - everything you could think of that you might need from marshmallow roasting sticks, to an abundance of beach towels, to Beautiful salad bowls. The decor and little touches are beautiful, the linens a very high end, and every need is catered for! The kids loved the ping-pong table the fire pit and the hot tub.. The adults loved the different outside spaces around the house. And the many windows that allowed the sunshine to streaming during the day, and the sunset the filter in in the early evening. Highly recommend I will absolutely visit again!
