"My wife, dog and I stayed in the Parlour cottage at the end of August 2024. Please take note that they prefer cash or bankers transfer, Hotels.com does not take the money. It is so relaxing and quite, this is down to the hands off way of the owners, Martin & Kate. We arrived and found a wonderful welcome pack waiting of Bread, milk, eggs and biscuits. "Check in was super easy and smooth! Lovely cottage on a working farm with acres of fields to walk our dog! Less than 10 minutes drive to Newport Beach which is lovely and has 2 dog friendly cafes :) the owner was lovely and provided us with recommendations of where we can go with the dog etc. Definitely recommend! "The property is in a beautiful location, the views from the garden are incredible. The facilities are all as mentioned, the hot tub was well maintained and a real luxury. The property wasn’t the cleanest, but in a rural location in great weather we didn’t spend much time on the house. The gardens are great and the land around is all accessible along with the animals on the farm.
