"House is cute and in a nice walkable neighborhood. The upstairs of the home (kit, living room, dining) was nice. Owners had a great coffee area set up, only thing was there were not coffee filters, so we didn't get to take advantages of the coffee. The downstairs was disappointing, the carpet is stained and the downstairs area smells. I guess this is good for those who have their pets (which we did not). Each bedroom had an air-conditioner unit. The check-in was smooth, minus the 2 different...

"Traveling from Utah to Texas for the 2024 Eclipse, we stayed at this lovely rental in Carlsbad. We immensely enjoyed Carlsbad Caverns and took a jaunt into the Guadalupe Mountains as well. The home had what we needed, the neighborhood was quiet, and the house itself is beautiful and comfortable."

"Check in was smooth and easy, we had the code the day before sent to us so we were ready to go. All the host asked was for us to let them know when we left. The house was very clean and the furnishings were cute and comfortable. The sheets smelled really clean like they’d just been washed. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting Carlsbad Caverns or Guadalupe it was a great location to see both."

"Fine property but several inconveniences. Upstairs shower is very small, not usable for any adult or teenager, so expect to only have one shower. Additionally main shower head is damaged and has a significant leak out the bottom of the head. No kitchen trash bags or paper towels were provided so we had to go buy some. Overall it was good for a weekend stay where we weren't at the house much."

"The house was perfect for my group of friends who were in the area to hike Guadalupe Peak. Home was nice, clean, and well furnished for our needs. Check in/out process was easy and the communication with the host was excellent. I would rent again in the future. Thanks!"

"Convenient location to Carlsbad Caverns. Lots of rooms and beds. Overall vey clean and comfortable but one of our party thought his sheets had an odor. TV in every room with lots of channels on Roku. Would certainly stay again."

"We enjoyed the stay immensely at La Cueva! The three bedrooms were perfect for our family of five. It allowed the kids space to spread out and relax after a long drive to Carlsbad, as well as after some long days visiting both Carlsbad Caverns and Guadalupe Mtns NPs. The proximity was great for both. The home perfect for preparing meals as well, with everything needed on hand. Thanks for a wonderful stay!"

"We set out on a road trip with my elderly in-laws, and Carlsbad was our second stop on our adventure. The home was great in accommodating both of them. (Mother-in-law scoots her feet real bad when in house shoes, so the tile floor was a bonus.) The shower in the master was also very user friendly for them."

"My family I stayed here during a vacation to Carlsbad Caverns NP, White Sands NP, and Guadalupe Mountains NP. We were greeted with fresh muffins and eggs from the hosts’ chickens. It was very clean and organized. Everything we could possibly need was provided including walking sticks, a backpack, sleds and wax for the dunes at White Sands, and an ice chest. For those with kids, there was a high chair and a pack play. There was a closet full of both indoor and outdoor games that we thoroughly...

"If you are looking to visit the National Park and other things in the area this was a great house and location. It is the desert so nothing is close, but this was centrally located for everything we did. And, we loved that it was an older home."

"We stayed here for 14 days during a work transition and it became our home away from home. This house was perfect for our needs while we stayed in Carlsbad. It is clean, has a fully stocked kitchen with utensils and cookware, and the washer and dryer is a huge help/blessing. The host, Donny, is super friendly, helpful, and communicative. "My friend and I spent a week traveling NM and stayed here after visiting Carlsbad caverns. It’s a really cute house, the area felt very safe, and it’s by plenty of food and grocery stores. Would definitely stay again if I’m ever in the area!"

"The property was exactly as advertised and was clean and easy to access. Not a lot of outdoor area but close to several parks/playgrounds so worked great. We stayed here several nights as we visited Carlsbad Caverns and Guadalupe Mountains National Park - we were close enough to visit those easily and in an area where we had easy access to anything we needed. House was clean and everything about check in and out were easy!"
