Family Time in Carlsbad
We had a wonderful experience at this well kept home in a great location. Plenty of space to gather together inside and out. Beautifully designed yard and quiet neighborhood that felt safe at all times. Multiple games found for kiddos in the office/guest room, beach toys/supplies in garage and corn hole for all in yard. Jacuzzi was a huge hit! Heather was so responsive to questions before and throughout our stay. Make sure you check out the Village Pie Shoppe and Leucadia Pizza, both a short walk away. This home is a gem, as are the hosts. Thank you for sharing your cozy home.

Family Vacation
Our family of 9 stayed at this home for a long weekend at the beach. The home is very clean and well stocked with anything you need for family dinners or trips to the beach. The location is great for access to the freeway and the beach. The owners were very quick to respond to questions we had and were very accommodating. We loved our stay and would visit again!

Great house with awesome backyard space
Great space for a family, big patio space, firepit, bbq island and big yard with cornhole provided :) Comfy beds with nice linens, walking distance to Vons for all needed items, perfect 15-minute morning walk to the beach, great restaurants nearby. Lovely private front yard with nice seating and lush landscaping

This house is incredible
The location is perfect, the store is so close it’s easier to walk to the store than park in their lot. The gas station is a block away at the freeway entrance. The freeway is below grade so you never hear it even though it’s only a block away. The street isn’t straight through so there’s no traffic driving past. This is our second stay and the highlight of our trip is always this house. Beautiful yard with a great bbq and hot tub, amazing plants and trees, the house is always clean and has all the amenities you need, the hosts are very friendly and accommodating . Completely enjoyed our stay wouldn’t hesitate on staying again.

So convenient!
My husband and I enjoyed our stay in this home. It was easy to get to and convenient for everywhere we wanted to go. The hosts were very responsive when we had a little problem with the TV during the Super Bowl. The house had everything you can imagine you would need. We have to say everyone we encountered during our trip (grocery store, restaurants, visiting the MidWay Aircraft Carrier) we all so upbeat and happy. What a joyful trip.

Wonderful home
My wife and I, and my two daughters' families, enjoyed three nights at this beautiful home. The kids really loved the hot tub. All amenities were perfect. Great place to stay!

Beautiful and peaceful
Beautiful home where the host went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. This home is immaculately maintained and is very close to grocery store, pizza place and other amenities. If you’re looking for a quiet and peaceful weekend getaway away from the city but close to San Diego this is the place to be.

Great/Clean place to stay
We were in town for a friends wedding and found this lovely home to stay while in Carlsbad! It was perfect for the 6 of us (3 couples). Everyone had their own bedroom and bathroom and the house was very clean. It’s within walking distance to the beach and a Vons right across the street. We would highly recommend this home for a small group of people to enjoy the California coast!

Best vacation ever
The property is worth every penny. Our entire group enjoyed the stay. It was very clean and communication was excellent. The hot tub was fantastic; loved all the outdoor lights and ambience. Location was super convenient. Short walk to lagoon where we rented kayaks for a peaceful morning. Beds were comfy. Would definitely stay again.

Amazing get away
I visited carlsbad with many family members and had an amazing time at this house. It was very clean, convenient location and many activities to do. Very child and infant friendly. The owners are very receptive and communicate well and eager to make the experience good. Would definitely stay here again.

Great house, great location!
This was a fantastic house in a great location and wonderful hosts! We ate fruit from the trees, enjoyed the hot tub and spacious, inviting backyard! The house was fully stocked and whatever we needed was across the street at Von's. Village Pie Shop was excellent as well! Would definitely recommend this home for your vacation!

Best home ever!
We were amazed at how well stocked this home was. The location was superb. The yard was well kept, safe and a joy for our little ones. Loved the outdoor shower after the beach. Walking across the street to Vons was awesome. Everything about this home was delightful and we will return.

Great location and very clean!
We were 2 families with a total of 8 people. There was plenty of room for everyone. The kids loved the game room and everyone loved the hot tub which was a good size and worked perfectly (we’ve had issues with other hot tub rentals). The grocery right across the street was super easy for last minute items and the short walk to Starbucks in the morning was enjoyable. We also loved the use of the beach wagon and boogie boards. House was well stocked with toiletries, pillows and towels. Backyard fridge was also great storage for extra beverages. Quiet street and private backyard were also a bonus.

LEGO land and Pie Shoppe plus a perfect home for 4 of us
Our final kids leaving the next 2 - 18 yo sons enjoyed the PSP 3 and nostalgic trip to Legoland. Next door to all stores you need, more convenient to walk to Starbucks. Hot tub hot. Tons of light switches :) lol awesome designer touches. WiFi, TV , firesticks, a 3 ring binder with advice... Thanks Heather we will come again.

Perfect vacation!
We had 4 adults and 5 kids meet up for a friendcation. This house was an amazing location with great amenities. The check in/check out process was simple and clear. The kitchen was well stocked with good tools and cookware. It's very clean. The two masters was an awesome perk for both sets of adults. The large kitchen table and ample room for everyone to enjoy each other, spot on! Super close the the beach (driving) and walking distance to Vons grocery store. They also had great extras like beach chairs, boogie boards, and sand toys! Thank you!!

Family Vacation
We had a fabulous family vacation. There were 7 of us and we were all very comfortable in that large, beautiful house. Lots of amenities -- Jacuzzi, game room, beach equipment air conditioned, lots of ceiling fans, and a nice living room with lots of seating and a large screen TV. It's also close to a freeway, a beach, Von's Market, and downtown Carlsbad restaurants. We highly recommend this house.

Great location and family house
Our family really enjoyed staying at this home. Everyone had their own room and bed and there was plenty of family space for us all to hang out together. We really enjoyed using the hot tub and fire pit. We also enjoyed barbecuing several of the evenings at we were there. We really liked the convenience of having a grocery store just across the street . The owners were great about communicating with us and we really appreciated their quick response in any questions that we had. They really wanted to make our stay as nice as possible. The location was perfect. We really hope to stay there again.

Family Vacation
We had a wonderful time in Casa Laguna. The bedrooms are comfortable and the house is really well equipped with beach chairs, a wagon, kites, beach towels. Also, there are lots of children's books and videos and gaming equipment. We went with our three adult children and their spouses and our 3 year old grandson. The yard is fenced in which is great for kids. There are plenty of places in the house to play games. We play a lot of board games and it was really nice to play outside on the back patio table. There are great lights hanging from the trees and a fire pit. We really didn't notice any highway noise and we walked to downtown Carlsbad several days. There are huge playgrounds to walk to and the beach is about a 10 block walk. The store is less than a block away. There is a pizza place and a pie bakery. We used all of those. This is a great house to stay in. Heather was so easy to work with. We would stay here again. Carole

Lots of space, very clean, super close to grocery store and restaurants.
This place was amazing! There was plenty of space for the whole family. Great back yard and the kitchen was great for cooking our Thanksgiving dinner. :) The grocery store is a 30 second walk from the house and there are restaurants in walking distance. There were TV's in most rooms, and they even had some video games to play and lots of dvd's to watch.

Lovely home in a perfect location.

Beautiful retreat in Carlsbad, California
We rented this home in Carlsbad for a vacation with our two adult children, their spouses, and our grandsons who are 5 and 9. We are from Arizona and they are from Ohio. The home is very spacious and well equipped--it suited all our needs. Even beach chairs, beach umbrella, beach towels, and sand toys were provided. Lots of games and books for the kids to enjoy also. We loved the back yard and spent most of our evenings out there enjoying dinner, conversation, and the hot tub. Location was ideal--close to beach, Legoland, Carlsbad Lagoon, shopping, and grocery store. Heather was very accommodating and responded quickly to all our questions--She even found us some coupons for Legoland. We created a lot of memories in Carlsbad and, once again, our Home Away experience did not disappoint but far exceeded our expectations. Sue and Bob Martinosky

Great home in a great location. Convenient to shops and restaurants.
We had an amazing time during our stay. The home had plenty of space as well as a big back yard for family entertainment. The spa was wonderful and the fire pit was great for s’mores with the kids.

Great Family Rental
Our family of six stayed here for a week and were very comfortable. Our four kids all stayed in the 3 bedrooms upstairs, which worked out very well for us. Our daughter appreciated having her own bathroom attached to her bedroom. We all enjoyed the hot tub in the yard, which was easy to use and convenient to the downstairs bedroom. We used the PS3, board games, kids books, and beach supplies, which were all in very good shape. The location is great for visits to Carlsbad and anywhere in the San Diego area. Heather was very helpful and responsive. Thank you for a great stay!

Great house
Took a little drive to get to the beach, but well worth it and perfect for my family. Stocked with beach toys, wagon, all the kitchen atuff you could need. Only thing I didnt like for my two tiny ones was that the stairs were made of marble and that gave me a bit of anxiety cause I have two under two. Everything else was perfection. Also, super sound proof house. The other couple with us couldnt hear my baby crying and I barely could too! You can hear the train noise slightly, but it’s pretty quiet so long as the windows are closed. Right across the street from a Vons and a Rite Aid, which came in super handy! Would rent again!

Perfect for Kids, Amazing Yard and Great Hosts
Our stay at Casa Azul was very wonderful! We had 3 small infants and 4 year old with us and the house was perfectly suited. Additionally, the adults could all enjoy the common spaces in the backyard, dining area and living area. Well stocked and plenty of storage space, so things weren't just lying about and lots of beach gear. The town of Carlsbad was adorable and the close proximity to Legoland was plus. We were also able to enjoy the flower festival in Carlsbad which was absolutely georgeous and great for the whole family. The lagoon is short walk and the stores across the street made life so easy and enjoyable for us. Heather was VERY responsive and accommodating. Highly recommend this rental!
