The staff blocked adjacent rooms for us, we confirmed the day of, went to lunch while awaiting the rooms being cleaned, returned and our rooms had been given away. We were told it’s just part of the hospitality business “no guarantees” (even though I confirmed three times on three different dates that the specific rooms we wanted (poolside, adjacent) were “blocked” for us. Nevertheless, the manager, Niveesha, got us into comparable rooms, saving the day.
Pros: The hotel and property are charming and quaint with a definite beachside feel. We loved the color
Cons: The wood floors in our rooms were dirty. Even after freshly washing our feet, we walked around in our rooms and our feet were all dirty. Should be easy enough to mop the floors but housekeeping probably skipped it. On the subject of housekeeping, there is currently no housekeeping during your stay (as of 6/14/21) “due to Covid.” Expect to need to arrange additional clean towels on your own. Similarly, pool towels are not poolside “due to Covid.” Additionally, on the subject of Covid, the hot tub was out off service and cordoned off with caution tape during our stay “due to Covid” for no apparent reason, despite the state reopening,
